After much menu deliberation, I opted for the Plato Grande w/ grilled steak ($13.99). Individually, the steak, rice and beans were good, but nothing spectacular. When I mixed them all together though...the deliciousness bumped up a notch. Surprisingly, for me, the star was the bright, fresh pico de gallo that topped the salad greens. You definitely want to fill up for some energy before the Freedom Trail walk at this spot! That's what I did, and I was so happy with the food. I had a taco salad and the shell was the most delicious thing I have ever had. It was like a pastry and it's own meal. The salad was fresh and filling! There is something for everyone- burritos, quesadillas, so much so that the menu looked a little overwhelming but my whole family loved what they picked.

RIP to the best burrito downtown. Herrera's is no more. It's being replaced with a vinyl record/sushi place--a phrase I can't believe is real. So sad. This is like a human death to me.
