The food and service was great. Our reservation was at 6:30 and it seemed like it was a frat party!!!! The music was so loud and it was beyond packed. I am a college student myself and even I thought it was crazy loud.
Get the biscuits. Don't think; just get them. Thank me later. You get four per order and each one takes two bites. They're out of this world! I could eat them all day. I also got gumbo. I'm from the South, Gulf Coast, so I know my gumbo. Chef knows what he's doing. The roux is dark and velvety, with the right amount of spice. You can get full on a cup. Food just a little bit too salty for my husband & I. And yams a little too sweet. & the corn bread is not like the cornbread I’m use to… it had actually corn in it lol. I’m from the south so I’m not sure if this is a northern thing(wasn’t bad though, just not our cup of tea) Anyways the Place was very crowded when my husband and I arrived(got there around 9pm) if you wanna dine in you should probably try and get there early or make reservations.
