My friends and I have been wanting to grab a sub from here for quite some time out of curiosity, but always had better options. Today we finally gave it a go and it was very average as you would expect. The only notable part of the whole meal is probably the bread, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It wasn't too doughy and had a good fluffiness to it as well. I would say I prefer this to subway tho, so I'd give this 3 stars. Pro tip: They are pretty generous...read full review

So, so, so mediocre. I used to love jimmy johns in college. This isn’t it. The bread was bland and yeasty, and way overcooked - there was a very hard layer on both the top and bottom of the sandwich. When did they start putting veggies under meat?! That’s not how it works.

The downtown Boston location is always really fast and the sandwiches are consistent. The store is always clean, except for the delivery bike parking lot which for some reason is indoors.
