Just tried this place tonight during our visit to see our son at BU and OMG! The food was ah-mazing!! We had the bibimbap, takoyaki, Korean fried chicken and a Korean corn dog (very interesting). The portion sizes are very generous to boot. Everything was soooo good and that’s saying a lot as we are a foodie family. We live in S. Maine where there are incredible places to eat. This place is small and quaint and the staff are sweet. I never write reviews on anything but felt compelled after eating here. Try it! You won’t be sorry. We will definitely go back on our next visit for sure!

Hot cheetos corn dog was delicious! I am craving for more. Not a five star review because I slipped and landed on my left knee really hard while walking in. Nobody said anything to me, not sure if they didn't realize or what but I was the only customer there.. ? Be careful when it's raining out and walking into the store. I thought maybe it was my sneakers but I've been into a couple of other stores before coming here and I was fine.

Far and away the best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had in Boston. Have only ordered takeout and so can’t speak to the place’s vibe but this has become my go-to comfort food. Excellent portions, very flavorful, and the merch is dope.

The store is small and cute, however, there is a weird fishy smell in there that wasn't very pleasant. The food is alright. The tteokbokki isa bit sweeter than I am familiar with, and the cheese was very delightful with the spiciness. Also ordered an original corn dog, and that was not too bad. There weren't any condiments, so it wasn't very interesting.

This was around my 4th time at kimchipapi and it has never disappointed. This time we got two KFC bowls and the KDog and it was all phenomenal. A great spot to visit in the Allston area for a quick takeout bite!

A (hip-ly) cult-y Korean fried chicken take-out place. While it has a lot of different types of Korean street food beyond Korean fried chicken, the chicken is where kimchipapi shines. The honey teriyaki sliders are to die for. The chicken bowls are great too. I wouldn't really recommend the poke; it might be that the flavorings are not to my palette or that the west coast has made my poke standards unreasonably high. Tteokbokki and bibimbap are good when you're craving them, though it's nothing exceptional. Take-out is very efficient — they always have my order ready in ≤ 12 minutes, which is perfect for picking it up on my bike commute home. A fun bonus is the kimchipapi-branded stickers, creating the endearingly cult vibe.

This is fun food - after seeing these Korean corn dogs pop up all over Boston and Quincy, I had to give it a try. These crazy corn dogs are tasty - we got the potato cheese. The chicken are a step up from chicken nuggets - nice large pieces of chicken breast but it's not my thing but my friend wolfed hers down. I do like the fact that the owner was working hard and kept his eatery super clean. That is a big plus!
