Came here with 2 of my friends and we all agree the drinks are amazing! We each tried one of the 3 mocktails on the menu. 10/10. Would recommend the pupu platter as well :)

Definitely fusion. They ran out of kalbi meat (short ribs) on a Friday?? We were asked about substituting bulgogi...for kalbi tang. Suggestion to the restaurant, If u run out of the type of meat to be served, do not substitute. Just say you ran out and cant serve the associated meals. This is what steak places do all the time. Bulgogi substituting for kalbi is entirely different taste and type of meat. Rice and kimchi was fresh. Mandu was meh. Soon dubu was fair. Not spicy enough. If you want original Korean food, this place is unfortunately not this place. Service was good despite the food.

This is a very neat and nice place tucked close to haymarket. The food comes out really quick and the spicy level is lit.

Great dining experience, went with 2 friends, had the chicken with fried rice and bulgogi, mandu dumplings and soju and beer. Nice calm atmosphere and decor, conveniently located by Quincy Market.

Husband and I had a reservation for koy during our short time in Boston. It was so cool inside, so much purple which is my favorite color, welcoming environment from all the staff. Our waiter was consistent in checking in on us and we got our drinks and food quickly. I ordered the court of roses cocktail, it was fragrant and sweet and so delicious. For our meal I ordered the japchae with kimchi and my husband ordered the kimchi fried rice. The kimchi was pungent in the best way, tart and vinegary with a great crunch. So good I didn't want to put it down. The japchae was perfectly cooked, tangy bulgogi with fried egg and vegetables, perfectly soft noodles. Oh my gosh it was just so good and so filling I couldn't finish it. The kimchi fried rice was cheesy and had a good kick of gochujang with each bite. My husband said he could eat it over and over again. Overall I have no complaints about Koy. It was a lovely dinner with excellent staff, we will for sure be back on our next trip to Boston

Appetizers like the mandu, edamame, and bang bang cauliflower were decent. The sauce on the cauliflower was a nice mild chili sauce that really had more sweet notes than spicy. The kimchi fried rice was passable. None of the above were bad, but they weren’t standouts either. Master Chang’s Chicken, the bulgogi, and pork belly were very disappointing. The bulgogi is some of the worst I have had in a long time with the meat bland and under seasoned. The pork belly was unrecognizable. The Master Chang’s Chicken had limited meat and disproportionate coating. The angry sauce was more mild than spicy. Service was attentive and fine, but ever so slightly leaning towards the upselling pushiness. Food is largely overpriced. Was worth a gamble, but I’d probably not return. Decor is very distinctive and has a hip vibe which was a plus.

This was my first time at Koy, and I was impressed with the drinks, first and foremost. I was surprised how empty it was on a Saturday night. Cool music, and our server Adrian was great. Hidden gem.

The food here was decent. We had the scallion pancake which was good. The bibimbap was decent. The beef tasted like it wasn’t fresh, and it was just previously cooked and reheated. We also had the Master Cheng’s chicken and it was mediocre. The fried rice wasn’t any different than plain white rice aside from the added vegetables. The service was great, I liked the art and decor. The mood and ambiance was killed by the loud EDM music playing. It felt more like a rave than a dinner.

Absolutely top notch service, some of the best I've received in Boston from Adrian. Will be coming back because of it next time I visit.
