I've been to Local 149 three times: for brunch, dinner, and post-dinner drinks and snacks. The black bean burger is great as are the snacks/apps and drink choices. I was disappointed today when I went to brunch because my corned beef hash was 100% not corned beef hash... it was huge chunks of corned beef (at least one inch cubed per chunk) and pieces of either red potato or fingerling potato that were quartered. Great service for Sunday brunch. Absolutely loved the girl dinner drink! The chicken nachos were a great starter and we both loved our meals. Very filling taking half home for lunch!

Stopped by here while attending a conference at the convention center. This location is a short Uber ride away from the primary convention center hotels, but well worth the travel. We stopped in on Valentine's Day and weren't sure how busy it would be, but apparently we arrived early enough to be at the crowds. The atmosphere was upscale corner bar. It was not pretentious at all, and not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. The food was good, as was the service.
