Ahh Magnolia Bakery, a New York City staple now with a new location situated in Boston's touristy Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall. Magnolia Bakery occupies a small stall in Quincy Market towards the front entrance but they are able to offer all the classics. The most important: the banana pudding! I am a longtime lover of their banana pudding. Banana pudding is such a huge thing in the south but I love Magnolia Bakery's version so much that I make it at home and their recipe is the only one I stick to. I thought it was super creative of them to fuse their classic banana pudding with Boston cream pie seeing as this is BOSTON! If you like Boston cream pie, the Boston cream pie banana pudding fusion is a must.

If I could rate this with 0 stars I would! This is the worst bakery horrible customer service and a bday cake that was awful! Would never recommend! I purchased banana pudding that was supposed to be in the bag with the cake. It was not. This was a horrible experience. Never go back!

Ok so I've been to the one in NYC a dozen times and never have gotten their banana pudding-always just cupcakes. I have grown out of my love for cupcakes so we decided to try a House made caramel latte and their "world famous" banana pudding. OMG I can't believe I've never had those bites of heaven before. Totally unexpected and amazingly delicious. Our only regret is we didn't get more...oh wait they ship country wide! I will never leave Boston without stopping in Quincy Market and picking up some. Latte was spot on as well-they do offer almond milk. Thank me later.

While we were in the Quincy market, we found magnolia bakery by surprise. It is the magnolia bakery from New York. We had to buy something. I have had cupcakes and bananas pudding before. But this time we went for cheese cake since we were in Boston. We were glad we did. I loved every bite of my red velvet cheese cake. My bf did his German chocolate cheese cake. They were creamy, just right amount of sweetness. It was just perfect. Highly recommend their cheese cake selections. I would say they are better than banana pudding and cupcakes.

Lemon bar was AMAZING. Very limited choice for cupcakes. Would give the cupcakes a 5 out of 10. Get the lemon bar.

Worst experience in awhile. Bought a piece of cheesecake and was kicked out of there seating area along with another family. Wouldnt have been there but 5 mins. Extremely rude staff and will never go back.
