Massimimo's is a cute Italian restaurant near TD Garden. Very small seating limited. But, authentic Italian cuisine and the prices aren't too high considering you're in the city.

We were thrilled to be able to be seated without reservations and to enjoy attentive service. We were seated in a small room on the main floor where they packed in customers like sardines, pretty much like we have experienced in Rome. Not really a problem. We adored the fried calamari because it was so fresh and tender. Plus, the presentation was celebratory. My husband absolutely enjoyed a pasta dish with limoncello and seafood. He thought the flavors were well balanced and cooked tenderly. I ordered the lasagna Bolognese. What I received was an unconstructed collection of papparadelli, ricotta, sauce (gravy) and mozzarella. It did not taste like Bolognese at all. In fact, there seemed to be no meat in it at all. And while the dish was alright, it was not what I asked for. I chose not to say anything because the noise level became too much for me, so I ate as much as I wanted and left the rest. Would I return? Yes, if I lived nearby. Massimino's has a long history here in the North End and that alone is reason enough to try it again.

What a gem around TD Garden. Beautifully decorated and very inviting. People were friendly and service was excellent! Food was also excellent! We got Fried Calamari appetizer, Veal Parmesan , Lobster Ravioli, and Seafood fra Diavlo. Portions were plentiful and it was all excellent! So happy we found this amazing place. Reservations were necessary on a Sunday afternoon before a Celtics game!

The olive oil for the bread was incredible! Everything else... meh. The bread was stale, the Caesar salad was drenched with dressing, and the lasagna was bland. Disappointing.

This is our go to place before a Garden event. It is crowded and loud, but always great food
Awful food. Crazy expensive. Awesome service. Weird? I've dined here multiple times in the past, food was always great. This time? We couldn't finish our dishes (because they tasted like...??), didn't want to bring leftovers. Waiter was awesome.

Our entrees were very good! Our waiter was very informative and attentive. Their website needs to be updated their menu is not the same in dining. Overall a very good experience. We went early say 3:30ish before the Bruins game by the time we left it was is very busy. Definitely would go back.
Have been wanting to try Massiminos for awhile and had a lovely experience! Great food, reasonable portions and absolutely amazing service! Space is tight but not unlike what I would expect at these North End gems! Big thank you to the talented chefs and attentive waitstaff. We'll be back!

Fantastic Italian dinner within a quaint setting. My wife had gnocchi and I had chicken Marsala. We also shared a house salad that came with a very tasty creamy Italian dressing. This was our second time here and service was excellent this time too. Our total bill including a drink each and our entrees was less than $80 before tip! We'll definitely be back!

One of Boston's true gems. I took my parents for their 50th anniversary and we had an unforgettable experience. We were comfortably seated and the atmosphere was lively but mellow. The food was world class- the best Chicken Cacciatore I ever had. Special thanks to our server Frank, a true gentleman who made us all feel like special guests!!!

Me and My Bf were visiting the area and we wanted to go for some Italian food . The food and service was exceptional. Our waiter was extremely kind and took good care of us. There is a waiting period so it’s good to make reservations and wait inside the restaurant so you can get seated. We got fried burrata, cacao de Pepe, the steak and stuffed lobster, their bread and butter is really good too we also got the lobster and ravioli. The restaurant is worth trying and going. Definitely going back there the next time we go to visit.
