I go to a local diner any time I travel. Always some of the best food of the trip. This is true here, too! Kickass corned beef hash!

Always great service and food is amazing. Staff are super friendly very clean inside. Parking can be a challenge. But I definitely recommend Mike's Diner

Go if you're hungry for breakfast or lunch. This is NOT fine dining. Kitchen is slow and the service pleasant if inattentive. They offer grits (!!!) but no biscuits (?!?!). This is a diner in the middle of the City and therefore serves a necessary market segment.

While in town for a doctor's appointment, we decided to grab lunch, and our experience here was fantastic! The sense of community is evident, with staff recognizing regulars by name. The food surpassed expectations--generous portions and reasonably priced. The clam chowder was particularly outstanding. The attentive servers consistently refilled drinks and coffee, and they were especially kind to our toddler. We'd return without hesitation!

Love this place. The only only thing I ask from them is to not use styrofoam containers. Their portions are massive and the container I got my food in for leftovers had flaky bits of plastic inside of it. Please consider switching to another material for take out/leftover boxes

Didn't get some of my order right. Server was rushing. But very polite and busy.

Mike's is a solid spot to take friends for weekend brunch. The food is good and the service is fast and friendly. It's not the best value in the south end, as meals end up over $20/person once you factor in a coffee and tips, but that isn't unusual for the south end. I do wish Mike's was open later, as it feels like an ideal restaurant for late night dining.

Evreytime I go there,I'm satisfied and so is my family. Very nice sized portions, and the food has flavor. Prices are what they are. Do enjoy your life, and your food.
