We really enjoyed our dinner. Very comforting soup for the winter, the pork and orange (albeit quite sweet) was well cooked and the pork arepas had exceptionally juicy meat. The way they present the steak (like a scaffolding) shows attention. The servings were generous. The flan was done just right. The service was perhaps a bit disconcerting; since anybody could take the order, the team wasn't perhaps always clear on whether an ordered was passed. I look forward to coming back to try out more dishes.

Came in to pick up some food I had ordered over the phone. There was some confusion as to what my order had been and the server’s response to handling the situation was to insult me by calling me a slur.

Orinoco, located in the charming South End of Boston, captures the essence of Latin American cuisine in a small, cozy setting. We arrived towards the end of the night, so we were unable to order the coveted arepas, the stars of the show. Nevertheless, the restaurant exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, luring us in with its good vibes. For our appetizers, we ventured into the realm of Pepito Costillitas, tender and boneless baby-back ribs. Each succulent bite transported us to a heaven - 5 out of 5 on the flavor scale. The Tequeños, delicate parcels of Guayanes cheese nestled within a crisp fried pastry dough, were delicious - 4 out of 5.Moving on to the mains, I embarked on a culinary adventure with the Lamb Chops, which was so succulent and seasoned to perfection. It was definitely the showstopper of our meal. 5 out of 5.The service provided by our waiter was exceptional. He made us feel welcomed and promptly accommodated our request to relocate from an outdoor table to the cozy interior.Although we missed out on the renowned arepas, we couldn't have been happier with our dining experience.

Very tasty food in a fun setting. Tables are tight but that's the norm locally. Fun night at a very reasonable price. $66 for 2 eating tapas styy until we got full and included a couple glasses of sangria. Can beat that.

We got insulted here by the waitress, - terrible service!!! We were here on the 27th of September, 2023. Everything started quite nicely until one of the waitresses came to us and said that my partner needed to put his shoes back on. Fair, their rules, we have no problem with that, but we do have a problem with the waitress' attitude. It is not like my partner took the shoes off, in smelly socks, put the feet on the table, - he quietly took them under the table so that even I could not see, let alone other guests. Even if she wanted him to put them on, that could be done nicely and politely, without an attitude and a sort of insult, making him feel like he is a savage who does not know how to behave in public. After that everything escalated. We decided not to leave the tips. In the end, it is up to us whether to do it or not. The waitress can be disappointed, understandable, but it is up to us, it is our right. What the waitress did was insane, she came to our table and started forcing us to change the amount of the payment to give her more tips. It was done aggressively and rudely, she was raising her voice at us. I don't remember her name but this girl has to learn how to deal with the disappointments in life, it can turn out to be a useful skill. Needless to say we felt very uncomfortable and left. But it was not enough for her, she continued saying nasty stuff to our backs when we were leaving!! Outrageous! Of course, we are never returning back. But I also kind of hope that the manager will have a serious talk with that worker.
I love going here for a casual neighborhood lunch or dinner. Ordered the palmito salad, light but decadent!
