We landed late a few weeks ago on our trip to Boston and were browsing the delivery apps for some late night pizza when we came across Pastoral and figured we give it a try when we saw the Chicken Parm pizza. We opted for the Chicken Parmesan and Margherita pizzas and the roasted garlic knot. The Chicken Parmesan was the star of the order for me. The chicken was perfectly fried and all the toppings were fresh and full of flavor, all on top of a wonderfully wood-fired crust. The Margherita pizza was perfectly cooked and full of flavor as well. I would honestly order both of these again if visiting again. The Garlic Knot on the other hand I would probably pass on. I am a garlic lover don't get me wrong, but this was a tad too much in my opinion. The dough itself was fairly thin and then it was loaded with probably 3 bulbs worth of garlic cloves. Just a bit too much in my opinion. All in all I would still recommend grabbing some pizzas here if ever in the area!

Visited on a busy night during a convention weekend and it was packed and our waitress super busy! She was a delight though there was some confusion on our drink order and it took a long while to arrive (after our apps). Food was all very good, but my beer was in a water glass and not a full 16oz pour which for the price wasn't great. The music was odd, someone kept turning the volume up and down and changing the song shortly after it started.Dietary restrictions: I was recommended here by a friend who is gluten intolerant. I am not and didn't try their gluten free pizza, but he swears by it!

This is one very busy place. We arrived around 6 pm after a Google search for a place to eat near the Conventio & Expo Center. Love the atmosphere inside. the food was excellent. the service was quick and super nice for a packed restaurant. Young Boston crowd filled the place, and there were several young Mom's with babies and toddlers. I would definitely go back again. Just a heads up, the bear brick walls do reflect a lot of sound, so it can be a tad loud inside if your hearing is not strong.
