First off, the server Justin was the reason we stopped and sat down. He had us at warm home made bread and this may be a bold statement but I’ll say out of the 25+ restaurants I’ve eaten at in the North End, Pellino’s has some of the the best bread. The outside dining has really added to the atmosphere in the North End. Pellino’s like many of the other Italian eateries is quaint and has a neighborhood feel. The owner came out and spoke to me like I was just stopping by for dinner. The butternut squash ravioli was stuffed with enough filling you could taste it which I appreciated. The sauce was sweet which may not be to everyone’s liking. Bread was decent with the olive oil. Overall no complaints, a nice meal.

Great early dinner on a busy Saturday evening. We sat outdoors and had an amazing experience. The waiter was very attentive and had good recommendations. We started with the tasty burrata over prosciutto and the great crusty basket of bread. My wife then had and greatly enjoyed the Eggplant Modugnese.
