Last night, I joined some old colleagues at The Perfect Pair, an event co-sponsored by American Lamb and Grgich Hills Estate and held at Woods Hill Pier 4 in Boston. It turns out that many of the vinyards in Napa Valley use sheep to support sustainable winemaking efforts. Sheep can help with weed control, soil health, and fire prevention.
