Got some bulk spices and tea- amazing to have a place to get proper bulk spices! I needed some Italian fennel and a quarter pound of earl gray. Great conversation with the person working the counter!

Best coffee beans in Boston! I love this place. It’s very old, historic, and beautiful. Aside from coffee they sell other gems as well. But the coffee is the best. What got me is how reasonable the prices are. I’ve been multiple times and sometimes my coffee beans are less expensive then at a grocery store. Which is awesome, especially for the North End of Boston. I even picked up a cup of house blend while I was there. Perfect for sipping while roaming the streets of the North End, and Boston.

Absolutely the best variety of coffee beans in Boston. The service is excellent! The playlist is flawless. In terms of people and music, definitely our genre!

Heard so much about Polcari's being THE PLACE for coffee beans. Finally went for the first time, was given the worst coffee beans I've ever had. Burnt to a crisp. Made the absolute worst coffee I've ever made. Looked online to see how you can tell if your beans are burnt, and every description is of the almost black, oily beans that Polcari's sold me. Total disaster.

It was a stop on a belated honeymoon to see New England. This is your spot in Boston to grab some beans, loose leaf tea, a few north end staples and chat with the crew. Get a cup to go or a coke! Enjoy the moment, don't be in a rush. They ship some stuff, love it!

Came back 3 times for the Italian lemon slush on my Boston vacation! Each time I experienced exceptional customer service!
This is such a Boston/North End staple, an authentic old Boston MUST. I can't say enough about their helpful, friendly staff and how delicious the coffee is!!! It's hard to pick a favorite coffee flavor/type... so be prepared to carry multiple bags for home brewing. But there's more than coffee here, the store provides many aromatic dried goods and spices. Also, do yourself a flavor and get a couple ounces of cinnamon. Mmmmmmm

I'm a coffee snob, and I don't like flavored coffee, but the coffee here has changed my entire outlook. Their flavored coconut blend is amazing. You cannot go wrong with any of their beans. They have always had fair prices and friendly staff. I wish I still lived in Boston, so that I could go more often!

If you are a serious coffee fan then stop at Polcari's Coffee in the North End. There is is a fragrant coffee atmosphere inside Polcari's. They have a wall full of coffee varieties. The rest of the store is coffee accessories, sweets and cups of all kinds. Stop in for a souvenir or for a bag of high end coffee. Its well worth a visit. Highly recommend.
