Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. We had the whole fish. Beautiful restaurant.

I LOVE RED LANTERN! Hahahhaa Red Lantern gave me some of my favorite memories from business school :') I threw two parties here and both were super fun! They are great at organizing drink and meal packages, and the servers are literally the NICEST people in the world. I would come back again and again. THANK YOU RED LANTERN! Highly recommend for anybody who needs to throw a 200~+ party.

Would not recommend the bar there. Drinks are heavily watered down. The bartenders charge whatever without informing you of cost breakdown. Last time I went, the bartender gave herself an additional tip UNAUTHORIZED on my card despite me giving a nice cash tip. When I inquired about this, the manager claimed they could not find the signed receipt, but he saw my initial charge. I think they did find the receipt and saw that their bartender made an illegal activity. The way they handle business is unprofessional and shiesty. I will not be returning.

My experience was mediocre at best, I ordered takeout because I had heard the restaurant was very busy. I viewed the menu online and was intrigued by the descriptions of the dishes. The descriptions put the dish expectations at a high level with all the in house cheeses and smoked items.

The DJ was good but that’s where anything good about this place stopped. Drinks are way over priced ($15+ for a well drink or $9+ for a bud light) and the staff is terrible. Someone from the staff kicked me out and almost got physical with me for tripping with someone while dancing. The only reason he did not get physical with me is because other people from the staff intervened and pulled him aside. Guy should definitely get fired.

Fun night and venue, with a caveat: me and my girlfriend got kicked out for very valid reasons (it was not drinking related), but they wouldn't let us finish our new drinks that we had bought 5 min prior! They snatched my beer out of my hand and were very rude, so for that I give them a 1 star.

The food is very tasty, though it is too overpriced to be truly enjoyed. I went for the brunch service with my friends, we had an OK time. Every menu item was overpriced and most of the portion sizes were underwhelming. (Aside from the chicken and waffles, which costed $30 but had an according portion size.) The atmosphere of the establishment was antisocial, loud music constantly blaring while we were trying to enjoy our brunch, it makes for an environment horrible for conversation. You can tell this place doubles as a club at night, and that is not a compliment. 2 stars! Would not reccomend!

Didn't get food there but rather went for their after hours. Was a good time, had a blast. Only two things could've been better: please stop cleaning my table that we got. I put my drink down for 1 minute and its being cleaned up... I just bought that drink man. Second, dj needs to not change songs every 30 seconds. Thanks

This was my first time at the Red Lantern. I attended brunch at 12:30 pm, on 12/11/21 to celebrate my adult son's birthday with friends. As I entered, not sure if it was open because there was no one to greet you and the place was empty. I waited a few minutes as another party came in and waited as well. After several more minutes, I began to walk into the restaurant, where the host appeared from the back and began seating the party, that came in after me, as I went to the ladies' room. Later, I was seated as the others of my party arrived. The server was rude and not attentive at all. She took our drink orders, (which took forever), and when she returned with them, she spilled an entire Bloody Mary on me. Needless to say, I smelled of vodka and tomato juice. :-( Finally, our food orders were taken and also took forever to come, and one entree was pretty bad and was returned. We wanted to leave but decided against it because it was a birthday brunch. The server seems not to be focused or wanted to be there. We spoke with the manager and shared our disappointment with the service. My son's birthday brunch was ruined. Very disappointing. :-(

Rude staff and one of the worst services I’ve ever received. We had a big group and paid for several tables but they rushed us out at closing time like we didn’t pay them anything - some of my friends ended up losing their handbags but received no help at all. In the end they charged us %35 tip which they clearly did not deserve.

5 stars for food for sure. The employees were kind and accommodating. We went for brunch on a Saturday around 1:00. There was a dj but it was kind of dead. Place is beautiful and the mimosa juices were delicious and fresh! Try the pear! A good vibe!!

In response to my earlier review and response from Red Lantern: My friends and I went to Red Lantern for drinks. We got there around 11pm to get drinks at the bar when there wasn't that many people (maybe ten people at the entire place?). We were standing there alongside with couple of people chatting, drinking and vaping and no one had said anything about that. Until when the place got much busier when they have parties coming in around 12ish - 1am, then all of a sudden an Asian guy (assumably a manager) came to tell us not to vape (and ended up getting kicked out after the third time). We thought it was absurd and didn't listen solely because it doesn't make any sense for these reasons: First of all, where was he to notice and tell us to stop when the business was super slow until it got busy and he made a scene? Secondly, their employees were vaping too while working!! Of course I would feel attacked when the guy was super aggressive standing super super close to us and keeping yelling "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT NOW!" I do acknowledge vaping is prohibited indoor in Massachusetts, and I would happily comply to any policies, rules if they make sense and applied equally to everyone. However, their employees were doing the same thing so why would we get treated that way?! What was the reason? We have the right to assume this could be racism/same-race racism based on the fact that your non Asian employees vaped and it was no problem until we did the same thing. We weren't heard at any level. He didn't even listen when we tried to address the issue instead kept yelling at us.

We drank a lot like over $300 on the bar and tried to have fun but one of the waiters was very rude and asked us to get out because of vaping while we saw people vaping. We have been to this club too many times and nobody ever behaved like that so we were extremely disappointed. PLEASE CONSIDER GOING TO THIS BAR BECAUSE THE STAFFS WERE REALLY RUDE!!!!!

Came here to support local business and got racism!!!! We got kicked out for doing nothing, is it how you treat your customers based on their race, ethnicity?? Racism is a virus!!!!!

My friends and I came into this place when there were a few guests, and we were having shots, chilling and having fun. The restaurant got a little more crowded and the staff suddenly shouted at us “GET OUT RIGHT NOW” without any proper reason. We did nothing wrong. Probably because we are the only group of Asians and we’ve experienced something called RACISM. Never come back to this place again!
