Excellent food. Definitely try the risotto, anything with fettuccine and the swordfish.

Ordered the Calamari Linguine which was pretty disappointing. The pasta had no richness in flavor and overall felt very plain. Highlight of the night was the tiramisu—would come back again just to have it!

Fantastic place within Boston's Little Italy. The food was delicious. From appetizers and entrees right to dessert I was not left wanting in any capacity. Wonderful food, attentive and friendly wait staff and a delightful atmosphere.
Everything was excellent! I got the cheese wheel special along with the lobster ravioli appetizer.

Food was delicious. We got the lobster ravioli for an appetizer and for dinner spaghetti and meatballs and fettuccini with artichokes. My husband loves meatballs and asked for extra meatballs. Little did we know when the dishes came out the two meat balls that came with the dish were each around 1/4 lb ea. They were HUGE! Needless to say my husband could not eat the extra meatballs and took them to go. The amount of artichokes was also plentiful. Never have I ever had so many artichokes in a dish.

Food was generally delicious but someone was heavy on the salt. I realize that a lot of salt is heavy on sodium, but a salty taste obscures the delicate blend of flavors most chef strive for.

Everything about this place is perfect! The staff are incredibly friendly and service was very attentive. Food was outstanding, wonderful ambiance, and an overall cozy vibe. Would highly recommend
We had a very nice meal. I had the Fettucine Gamberi which was excellent. My husband had Veal Marsala and he enjoyed his meal. The Italian bread from the bakery across the street was very fresh and tasty! Not like the bread you buy at the grocery store. The service was excellent. Our server was very friendly, professional and attentive. We were seated in the lower level which was a bit crowded and reminded me of my grandparent's basement if it had been fixed up. Overall I would recommend Francesca's but I will ask for a table upstairs next time.

I have been here a handful of times and not once has this place let me down. Great place with great
It has been 35 years since I lived in Boston and dined at Villa Francesca. I was excited to go back, and for sure I was not disappointed! What a wonderful experience, and all 5 of us were thrilled with our meals and the service.

A great meal and service . Brian our service was top notch! Salads , meals and desserts were all perfect . We loved the feel of the place . Highly recommend.
Food was good. There are quite a few mushroom dishes, so if that's your thing, this is a great place for that. If it's not your thing, you may want to look elsewhere.Service was outstanding. Great ambiance.

It's like an Italian restaurant, but it's not Italy, there were many things that didn't satisfy, even the dirty glasses, but being in America you have to get used to the fact that it won't be European quality, even if the price of food or wine is higher than in Europe.

It doesn’t seem Italian … it is Italian with a Latin flair. Overall, read the worst reviews first. They seem to be the most accurate. It seems that after a bad review all these good reviews pop up. Could it be friends and family? Our experience: food was less than common. Seemed off - pasta most certainly wasn’t fresh or homemade. It just wasn’t that good. The staff seemed to hang out at the bar - it was almost like you were an intrusion and they just wanted to get people in and out to make a buck. Our waiter was a young Latin man who spoke very little English. The building itself is charming. The atmosphere is pretty to look at. That’s about the most positive thing we can say. They got us once. They won’t get us again.
