If you find yourself tired of the craziness of Quincy Market, about 100 yards away is this gem. Best chicken sandwich!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wicked comfy inside.

Have to agree with Zaraid and others. Thought I'd give Saus a try based on the reviews. Huge disappointment! Had the Sloppy Joe burger. Buddy had the kimchi and chicken. We both had the regular fries. Service was slow, fries were lukewarm, and the sandwiches were MEH. Considering we paid over $25 each, and based on the quality of the food and subpar service, it was definitely overrated and overpriced!

Had a great time here! Food was delicious and service was kind, helpful, and timely. The big poutine was larger than I expected! Delicious and I definitely ate the whole thing ? My friends all loved what they got, everyone was satisfied, the crowd was pleased.

Atmosphere was this incredible juxtaposition of modern animation and the historic bones of an old building. I remember my burger being amazing but hell if I could remember the name, but I remember my wife had the kimchi chicken and by thunder that was good. The kids were happy too with their hot dogs. It's a Boston must visit.

Food looked good but poutine was bland and didn’t have enough gravy. Cheese was ice cold.

Flavors - 3/5 Textures - 3/5 Presentation - 2.5/5 Value for Money - 3/5 Would return? No I tried their Classic Crispy, boasting bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheddar, and roasted garlic mayo. Upon first glance, the subpar quality of ingredients was evident, though the portion size was reasonable for the price. The sandwich reminded me more of a burger. While the chicken itself was flavorful, reminiscent of a tasty smashed burger patty, it was noticeably thin and unfortunately overcooked. The cheese was just there for decoration. While I didn't hate it and certainly edible, it failed to live up to the standards. I'm left questioning its popularity and its rating, which seems disproportionate to much better spots out there.

I think this is a really cute restaurant and I had really high expectations. However, it just wasn't what I expected it to be in terms of the sauce that I wanted and the taste of the fries.

God's Good Grief

My boss told me about this spot. I decided to check it out for lunch. I ordered the Coney dog and the Big poutine fries-- vegan. The place is kinda small with tables, but crowded and the food was good. The staff could be more welcoming, friendly and let the customer know when their order is delayed. Its located by Haymarket station, right across from the Holocaust Memorial, next to Yankee Publishing.

SO HAPPY to find a place with amazing options for both vegans AND non-vegans! Both my boyfriend and I ordered “chicken” sandwiches. His was real chicken, and mine was plant-based, but BOTH were delicious! He ordered the poblano chicken sandwich and I got the kimchi chicken sandwich. The kimchi was amazing. The fries were also amazing! Perfect crispiness. (we would not recommend the chipotle vegan sauce … weird texture).

They left the Uber Eats open when they were closed. So I walked all the way there to find out they were closed.

Honestly this is one of my new favorite sandwich shops! Their chicken sandwiches are on par (even better in my opinion) than popeye's/chick-fil-a's chicken sandwiches and for a couple reasons. Their chicken is flavorful and juicy and their buns have a crunch and flavor to them similar to a baguette Complete with roasted garlic mayo (i love garlic), bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, this sando was so unique that it has beat all other chicken sandos They have a variety of sauces to choose from if you order fries (which were SO CRISPY and i loved how there were salt flakes on top for extra texture). The secret saus and roasted garlic mayo were my favorites! The all-american burger was my favorite though Made with american cheese, iceberg lettuce, secret saus, tomato, pickles, and mushroom. This burger more than satisfied my craving While this location had salad options (chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and poutine too!) there's another Saus location in Bow Market Somerville, MA and it's menu is all vegetarian‼

I’m writing this with a heavy heart as Saus used to be one of my favorite places in Boston from when I was a college student to my yearly trips coming back to visit Boston. I’d tell all my friends to stop by too if they were in town. However, the meal my family and I were served yesterday was dismal at best. I’m talking COMPLETELY BURNT patties, the fries were overdone and soggy and everything was overly salted. We even asked them to remake one of the burgers and it came back somehow worse the second time. My mom couldn’t even eat more than the first bite.If I wasn’t hosting my family, I would’ve absolutely pushed for a refund.Sad to see what Saus has become - I wonder if there’s been a change in management. Service wasn’t as warm or quick as before either. Crazy to wait 20 minutes for a burger just for it to be the most mediocre thing you’ve ever had.Save your money and just venture over to one of the many restaurants in North End or even at Quincy market (ya I know, it was that bad).

Ordered a poutine, the fries were burned and the cheese freezing cold. It was barely edible. The service was a meh. Read good reviews but got the exact opposite experience.
