I grabbed a beer before heading to the Garden for Tool. It was at full capacity so it was very busy and loud but I had a great time! It was the perfect place to pregame before the show. I'll be back someday!
Came to Boston looking for that bar experience and didn't get it. We got back on the train from Salem and were recommended Sullivans for that dive bar. This is exactly what I wanted and expected. The bartender, Derrick, was great and has been here almost 30 years. He gave that Boston banter back and forth and this was the best bar we have been to all trip. I would highly recommend. Remember, THIS IS A BAR and not a restaurant.

It’s a no nonsense bar. Went before a Celtics game and even though it was busy no one was waiting for a drink. Beer was cold, priced fairly, good pours on the spirits, friendly efficient service, game day atmosphere, happy customers. Definitely coming back here next time I’m catching a game.
