Loved the vibe of this place! The food is great & the best is their service! Our server Nate was so friendly, hospitable & efficient! He made us feel right at home! Sad to be leaving Boston tomorrow, otherwise would have come here again.
Discovered this gem on the Wicked Gluten Free website. The Friendly Toast is a vibrant, trendy spot for a quick bite! Sam, our server, was absolutely phenomenal!! Her energy, kindness, and expertise regarding our allergies were exceptional!! Despite the bustling atmosphere, she maintained a fantastic attitude! The other servers and bus staff were also prompt, welcoming, and efficient! Kaitlin, the hostess, was a delight to interact with as well!! My son and I enjoyed breakfast food (eggs/hash browns/corned beef hash and gluten-free toast!) - all delicious with plenty of allergy-friendly options (gluten/dairy) thanks to the knowledgeable staff!! Highly recommend for a delightful and hassle-free dining experience! We had a wonderful time! Thanks, Sam! :)

OMG INCREDIBLE!! I went with my parents when visiting Boston. We got the Irish Benny, huevos rancheros, and the Kings Stack (delicious pancakes of pb, banana, chocolate, and BACON??). Huevos rancheros were good, but the other two rocked our socks off! Must get!!

This was first time visiting the city of Boston and I really wanted a mimosa so I found this place. Every single thing about this restaurant was incredible. There was a a bit of a wait but that was to be expected for Easter Sunday brunch. The wait wasn’t even that long at all. I got a mimosa flight and a classic breakfast with vegan sausage and I HIGHLY recommend both items. My boyfriend got the Pickle Bloody Mary and he said it was the best Bloody Mary he ever had. Besides the food, the service was incredible. Our server, Luan, was absolutely amazing. When I come back to Boston The Friendly Toast will absolutely be my first destination and I’ll definitely ask Luan to be my server again. Thank you for the incredible service!

Unfortunately, my family and I did not get the opportunity to try their food. I had been placed on the waiting list (Yelp) at 9:30 a.m. We checked in at 10:00, and we were informed that we didn't have much of a wait. As 11 o'clock approached, we still had no table. I went in again to inquire and was told 15 more minutes. At 11:20, still no table. At that point, we removed our names from the list and went elsewhere. Be prepared for a long wait. Two hours was too long for us.

My husband spent a long weekend in Boston last week, and on Monday, before getting on the road, we stopped at your Boston location. We were excited to try the food and feel the vibe. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the team. Every single person was smiling politely and made us feel so welcome. One person specifically was Amy, the bartender. She was AMAZING. From the second we sat down to the minute we left, we were taken care of. So much so my husband and I looked at each other and said, “I want to be friends with Amy.” We almost left her our number but didn’t want to look like creepers.Additionally, the food and drinkie drinks are fantastic. I had the Hash Quiche and a blood orange margarita, and I’m still thinking about it. We will be back for sure and will absolutely tell everyone we know about The Friendly Toast and our experience and that they should go immediately. Being a gay couple, I was also moved by their abundance show of support with your Pride Flags. Thank you for being amazing humans and turning out “wicked” food!
We had a party of 6, took a while to get seated. Not a great place to wait but it worked. The food was delicious and the waiter did great. Not sure I would rush back, but it was good for what we needed.Dietary restrictions: I told them about my nut allergy and my fish came out with a little toothpick that indicated allergy. That was cool!

Don’t be dissuade by the wait time. The very long wait to eat here is worth it! Food and a drink presentation is excellent. Highly recommend enjoying the mimosa flight. It gives you the best of the mimosa world to try.For breakfast, you can’t go wrong with the eggs benedict or pancake selection. The Chicken Cordon Bleu Benny are the most original and delightful flavor explosion. Still dreaming about this breakfast!

Very delicious and very fun. It was a wild wait for a table but the wait list option allowed us to walk around while we waited. The menu items all looked delicious and everything we ordered was perfect. It was my second time there and I'll definitely be back.

Do not recommend here if you just want a peaceful and relaxing breakfast.within our 20minutes of eating, the lady staff came twice to check if she can take our plates away. The first time I pointed out I still want the proteins. Soon on the Second check she just ruined my mood and let her take the plate.Feels pretty much Not comfortable while I’m still working on those. There was obviously still much food on the plates and I was replying text message while Chewing food in my mouth. Ye, it does not feel good to take away your plate while you are still chewing food in your mouth…I understand there maybe people waiting for the tables and they want more table turnover rate. Still paid 20% tip for having the no-ice water taken care of, and that she is the only one busy covering the basement floor. but will NOT come back again nor recommend to those who just want to relax and have a peaceful breakfast.Sat down downstairs around 8:40am. Food served at 9am. Signed check at 9:27am. All timestamps collected by iPhone photo timestamps.
