Boston has a horrible nightlife, consumed by the thousand of cheap copies of Irish pubs. In that context, this is probably the best one if gone to in Boston. Good music and nice vibes. Whenever I just want to go for a drink with friends I come here.
The Tam is a special place where prices have not felt the increase in inflation, a jukebox plays mellow powerful music (like in an 80’s movie) and the wood bar shines despite the nicks and scuffs suffered. Stopped in for a quick beer before a meeting at The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts. The bar is the same as I remember from 40 plus years ago. Iconic is the best description. Great service, cheap and cold beer. I wish I could have stayed. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
