Meng's Kitchen 天津包子 Reviews

I am obsessed with this place!!!! Definitely try the beef noodle soup. It had a generous portion of chewy noodles, incredibly tender beef, and a yummy rich broth that was just salty enough for my taste. I also got an order of vegetarian buns, which are good! I think I would try an order of pork buns next time.

This joint was run by a really cute and nice old couple and the buns are to die for; the closest thing I've tasted in America to a real authentic bun from China. The flavor was spectacular, all for a good price! The beef noodles are to die for, the beef is so tender and the soup is very rich. It is nestled in a little corner of Super 88 but if you ever visit you cannot skip out on these amazing buns and noodles!

So good, and only $6 dollars for 4 fresh buns. The vegetarian ones slap. Pork buns are really good too. They sell cold marinated pig ears, winter melon soup, and other authentic things that I have yet to try, but based on my bun experience it'll be good.
