Calamari-was not the best, the batter keeps falling apart and the sauce was not that great. I like my calamari with white sauce usually.Carbonara pasta with chicken- was delicious. Full of flavor and the chicken was so CRISPY. Mmm it was so good my friend kept eating my pasta?.Cheese ravioli- was a bit too hard, it could have been a bit softer in my opinion. My friend said it was ok definitely not as good as the carbonara.Our server was very nice and attentive. Although we didn’t get his name. He served us well. It was actually pretty busy in here compared to the restaurant next door. It is very spacious for the North End. Has another room right when you walk in too. I would definitely come back and try the tortellini pasta next time.Note: i just witnessed a waitress coming out of the women’s restroom stall not washing her hands and leaving the bathroom! Disgusting! She was a waitress at this restaurant too! ??. If you work with food please dont forget to wash your hands. Even if you are just opening the bathroom stalls and not using the toilet you still need to wash your hands ??

3/31/24 Visit--Wonderful restaurant in the North End of Boston. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. Started with the cold antipasto platter. Eggplant caponata , sauteed broccoli rabe, sauteed escarole, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, mushrooms and zucchini. The chicken parmesan was cooked to perfection and the Cacio pepe may have been the best I've had. Fresh parmigiano with black pepper, fantastic! Additionally, the penne Amatriciana (pancetta,onions and tomato) and the Ravioli with wild mushrooms and black truffle cream were also great. Totally pleased and we will be back again.2018 --For a busy place, the food was excellent along with the service. Veal milinase, gnocchi were fantastic along with the meatball appetizer that was off the charts good.

Amazing food and service! I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Drinks, charcuterie, and pasta were all delicious. A bit loud, and we were sat right next to the kitchen in the back but it’s okay we still had fun.

Overall delicious food and enjoyable experience. I especially enjoy the gnocchi dish and cacao e pepe but everything was really good. The atmosphere was great for both serious occasions and friendly hangouts. The staff were friendly and took great care of us. Personally, I would recommend family style for those don't mind so you can try more dishes in one go.Vegetarian options: A good amount of delicious dishes are vegetarian.
Fabulous Italian food, but way too crowded. Extremely loud. Filled with obnoxious people. Drinks were not good. Not a quiet relaxing restaurant. So many other places nearby to choose from. This restaurant is just a tourist attraction.

Food was great. A bit noisy but it's the month end so expected.
The hostesses' behavior was shockingly rude, undoubtedly among the worst encounters I've ever had. Despite the unwelcoming atmosphere they created, I reluctantly stayed due to the lack of other options on a busy Friday evening. While the food managed to salvage the experience somewhat, the sour taste left by the hostesses lingered, resulting in a disappointingly mediocre dinner. It's evident that the management prioritizes quantity over quality when it comes to customer service.

Great service. Waiter was plucked direct from Italy so it added to the experience. He was super friendly and accommodating. Food was 10/10. My old fashioned was terrible but my friend had the espresso martini and it was legendary. I would 100% go back.

Wow! Best freaking mushroomRavioli’s of my life! We had dinner here one night and the service was decent nothing wrong but the food was absolutely the best Italian food ever! We sat on the enclosed patio it was COLD and not pleasant but when the foodCame and I had my first bite I forgot about how freezing I was and dove right in. Pasta was good. Bread was nice and like I said those raviolis were spectacular! I would absolutely goAgain and recommend.

I thought I was eating spaghetti in a nightclub!I think the portion size is enough to share with friends.Both the cream and lobster dumplings are a bit greasy, but the lobster dumplings are really special and you can order them. But if you come at night, you really have to yell to chat with your friends haha... The waiter at the door also looks like a nightclub security guard...I don’t think it’s suitable for a date, but it would be quite high if I come with my friends!
