One of my favorite spots in Boston. Beer menu is always good. Sometimes service can be a little slow, usually because it's crowded, but always worth it

To be avoided. Lousy service. Lots of space, few tables, gets full fast. The barman is horrible and takes the liberty of shouting at customers. Music too loud, you can't hear yourself speak, you have to shout. We left without even ordering.

It must be good, as it's been too busy to get into all week.

Food was under cooked and took 45 minutes to be served drinks. Would not recommend going to.

It’s so sad to see what trillium has become. In 2016, their beer was among the best in the country. Now it all tastes the same. Citrus rinds bathed in low carb hop milk. I don’t come often any more. To make matters worse, they hold over priced beer dinners with their mediocre beer and mediocre food, 125$+ a head. What a shill of a company

Rude bartender who acted as if they’d been accosted when I asked them for a food container that was located directly behind them within an arms reach. Was out with a friend who lost track of time and realized they needed to leave within a few minutes to catch their train at South Station. We had just given our waitress our cards to run and understood it could be a few minutes until they got back and a few more before they got us a to go box so I volunteered to go to the bar and ask a bartender for a box. The only bartender available was unfortunately busy talking to a couple checking their passports. Despite the time crunch I waited until their was an appropriate pause in the discussion, apologized for the interruption knowing it was an inconvenience and asked in an expressly kind tone if they could grab a to go box (which was within arms reach) for me. The bartender responded purposely loud and hurt tone as if I’d aggressively/rudely interrupted their transaction mid sentence. I apologized again and explained my friend was in a hurry for a train and was met with a second overly exasperated response of essentially - how dare you.Our waitress food and beer was great so I happily tipped our waitress 20% she earned it. I won’t be going back to this location though. I waited for a break in the bartender’s discussion, apologized for the interruption, and made a request that would have taken them less than 2 seconds to fulfill. Fine if they’d told me I’d politely have to wait but that level of over reaction and hurt? Get over yourself.

Amazing beer food and atmosphere! For Ipa lovers I recommend it ???

Excellent beer with a focus on IPA, though their fruited options were great as well. Food was on point with plenty of options. Oyster special is an amazing deal and were very fresh. Large merch selection with quality clothing too.

Trillium never disappoints on beer but, in the past, I have had a bad experience with the food. Over the few years the food has drastically improved and is now very good. With their great food, great beer and family friendly environment, I think it's hard to not have a good time here.

I hosted an event here, and they were spectacular from the moment I walked in and was greeted from the host to dealing with Sarah the General Manager!I would recommend hosting an event here anytime…very accommodating, and can’t get over the kindness from the staff especially Sarah.Mitch was amazing, he was our server….beyond helpful.

Took some time to be seated as it seemed to be understaff on a Sunday afternoon and a lot of tables were “reserved”. You order at the bar and we had the famous ale and a new type of ale which was very tasty with the exact notes described on the menu. Music was rather loud but once the beer kicked in it was a fun energy
