They serve under age patrons, just FYI. Pretty risky business not checking IDs. But I guess they gotta make money somehow

Solid food with decent portions for the price. Waiter was nice and attentive to our friend who had allergies to nuts and milk. I really enjoyed the late 90s and early 2000s music in the background.

Went to Ward 8 because we heard about the $5 mimosa deal (which is great)! However, was a bit disappointed in the rest of the meal. The quality of the food was fine, but I ordered the Ward 8 Bowl which said it had Hot Honey on it. It did not- it was more of like a ranch dressing. My friend I was with ordered the egg white and spinach omelette and he was given the bacon omelette instead. I probably wouldn't go again for brunch, but would possibly try dinner.

NEED a reservation as the place gets packed before a TD Garden show. Our reservation was 5:30 and we were seated right away. Waiter did not come over until 5:50, which is okay because place is packed and I could see he was hustling. He then told me our table had another reservation for 6:30 and I said, but I have been here and you didn't come over for 20 minutes. He then said that it would be okay that the other people could wait, which was a bit worrisome that they book reservations so close. The food came out really fast and was delicious, tasty cauliflower appetizer and steak fritte and grain bowl with salmon. All ended well, we enjoyed the meal, were able to get a another round of drinks, were not kicked out early. Off to the show.

Late lunch/brunch before an afternoon Celtics game. Had the chicken and waffles which were very good. Son had the burger which he said was also very good. Good attentive service. Pretty good beer selection. Always a nice atmosphere.

Ward 8 came in super clutch on a cold night out in Boston. We had tried to grab a drink at 3 other spots in the North End but the lines were out the door and we didn't want to stand outside in the freezing cold. We looked up nearby cocktail bars and Ward 8 came up. It was only a 6 minute walk from where we were so we pressed our luck and there was no wait! We felt like we were defrosting just from standing at the hostess table. Warmth! Victory! :) We came for drinks and they were all great! My friend got the espresso martini and she seemed to really like that. Another friend tried the Jack Rose fruity drink and she also enjoyed sipping on it while we sat and talked. A cute vibe inside -- low lit and a young adult crowd (everyone there was about our age). Located right around the corner from the T and near the Garden!

Came in before the Beanpot final. Our server Mathew was friendly and attentive and gave a good whiskey and beer recommendation. I had the double cheeseburger and it was good! Will definitely return if in the area

Great Saturday brunch before an afternoon Bruins game; Bloody Mary's with Tito's were awesome along with a with our brunch orders; the perfect meal to have with family and friends. Ward 8 is a neighborhood gem.

Good Food and Cheap Beers I went here at the last minute with a friend before an AEW event and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was very nice and had a range of selections. We both ended up getting the burger and it was excellent and perfectly cooked. There was also a great selection of cocktails and reasonably priced oysters! It took a little longer than I would have expected for our food to arrive but not outrageously so. Service was friendly and I would definitely go back before my next visit to the Garden. Tip: Hamms Cans for 4 bucks Thanks

Got cocktails at the bar and had a great time. Bartender was friendly and excited to make certain drinks. Even with the space being busy our party could easily hear one

No Valet Parking. No answered the phone when I called to tell them were late looking for a parking spot. Servicers inattentive to the table setting. All of the servicer conjugated at the end of the bar. Bloody Mary's tasted "watered down" and coffee was weak. Brunch meals were fair but not bad.

Came here for a Saturday brunch - $5 mimosas were a nice draw for our group! We were seated by the window and it was frigid, so we kept our coats on the whole time but hey it is winter in Boston. Per our waiters recommendation I tried the chicken sandwich and it was quite tasty and I loved the home fries. They were really well seasoned. The only knock on this place was we ordered 2 sodas and reminded the waiter 3 times and still never got them.
