Solid 3-star restaurant. Menu is definitely more authentic Chinese food because it's more catered towards actually spicy dishes! Even the dishes don't appear to be spicy based on the photos, they can still be pretty spicy! Also the price isn't particularly student crowd friendly. If you are an adventurous foodie this place is great. The beef and tripe in chili oil was great, I was unsure if I would like tripe but I did. The stir fried lotus was tasty also. Glad we stopped in and would like to try other options as well.

I am an authentic Hunanese and this restaurant is really, really delicious. The preserved egg with preserved pepper and the tofu with green pepper are particularly good, very delicious and go well with the meal. I left my wallet here during the Chinese New Year. The boss was very kind and left it for me to wait for me to pick up. Highly recommended! ! ! !
