“I've been coming here for years! Everything is home cooked there, and I've never been disappointed with anything I've had! This is THE place to go, if you want THE best Italian food! Every time I go there, I always bring home a couple of quarts of there bolosnese sauce. Not only is it awesome on pasta, but I use it in many of my recipes, such as my stuffed peppers. They always come out delicious! Try this place, if you haven't already, you can thank me later!!! Bon appetit!!!! ???“
“Easy going atmosphere. Definitely a townie spot and for good reason. Solid bar pizza and reasonable pricing means you can have a classic night out at the bar and not break the bank. Staff was friendly and service was kind. If your looking for a quick drink or a spot to hang in the city of champions its a no brainer. Joe Angelo's.“
“Staple and classic. Anyone that grew up on Oak St or in the nearby apartment complexes knows how much this place hits. Seems it’s under new management? But the slices are ? good deal for 2 slices and a soda. The steak and cheese also ?. When I was a kid I use to get the steak and cheese with pepperoni inside. Prices are still good. If you’re not from Brockton don’t be alarmed, this is right by multiple housing projects so it can be a lil ghetto and fights, robberies and shootings do be happening in this parking lot lol“
“Our first time catering from this restaurant. The food was amazing! Amanda, the catering manager who took my order was polite. Unfortunately, when my husband picked up the order he encountered a rude young lady. All because he came 30 minutes early. All she had to say was please give us 20 more minutes. Not continue to nag. My husband knew he was early, but sometimes the food is ready early and sitting. No need for the rudeness. We are all about customer service, is one the reasons we go back to establishments. The food was amazing. Not all of your customers are from Brockton!“
“We here in this area of the so shore are in a food desert. There is nothing around but pizza places. Flows never disappoints. I'm a single lady and get a large flows special pizza once a month and freeze it. I can grab and and go a slice in the toaster oven when I want one. Yum. Way better than anything I get frozen at S&“
“Went there for a late lunch. We got the bbq pulled pork with fries and a little rocky (I think that is what is called, roast beef with onions and horseradish sauce) with onion rings. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was really good and the fries were hot and fresh. Place was clean and sports was on the tv. Prices were average and you got plenty for it. Plenty of seating. Would definitely go back again. Would recommend.“
“Edit: as the new owners hace been there theyve taken what made georges the best Italian family restaurants in the area into a shell of itself. They need to change the name. The food is not good. Its not familyn oriented. Went with NY kids at a normal hour, they didn't have anything my kids would eat anymore. They saw my kids putting money over and over in the juke box and wouldn't play the songs, they had a love band coming and didn't inform us. When the band came they moved us in what used to ben1 of 3 original eating areas, but it was just a storage room. I took one of my kids to the Car and waited for the rest of my fam to finish. I can't speak on the night vibes of it but don't expect Italian food or family vibes.ILove George's, new owners so it's changef but food was still great. they now have live music on the weekends“
“Have been coming here since I was a kid. Classic sub shop with all the fixins. Delicious across the board and fresh. Most of all, consistent. Don't sleep on this place, you're missing out.Parking: Plenty of parking and easy to access from road.“
“This restaurant is a go to for holiday parties! The private room is where were normally get together and it is always clean spacious and well decorated. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely all staff are so kind! The waitress that was in the private room with us was so sweet! The food is soo good, steak frites are top notch.“
“Decided to celebrate my birthday here with my (16 year old) daughter. Loved that we were sat immediately and our server (Bonnie) attended to us in short order. Our food came out very quickly after we placed our orders: Lollipop lamp chops, Caesar salad and empanadas as starters and a filet mignon, Mac and cheese and fingerling potatoes for my daughter and the bucatini for me! The meal was lovely, however, my daughter ordered her steak medium well, but it arrived overdone. Bonnie alerted management who offered to have it remade or an option of a complimentary dessert…of course she chose the dessert. The entire experience was pleasant and the food, was the star!We also deeply appreciated Bonnie’s and management’s attention to ensure we had a great evening. Can’t wait to visit again!!!!“
“If you’re looking for a place to throwback you to an amazing, cozy and remarkable era definitely this place is Leandro’s restaurant. The atmosphere as a “speakeasy “ associated with high quality Italian food impresses. The bartender and server are quick, empathetic and very friendly seeming that they really enjoy work there. Definitely, I visited once and excited to go back again.“
“Fabulous Italian Restaurant! Got seated right away, and Fiona checked on us immediately. Offered us drinks, which we got. I got a Malibu Sunset, and my husband got a Captain and Ginger Ale. Both were excellent.I thought about getting the Beef Stroganoff, but when Fiona checked, they didn't have any more. But that's OK. I decided to get the baked lasagna with meat sauce, and my husband got the Gnocci Pomodoro with a meatball. The dinners were superb! The lasagna noodles were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was tasty. The Gnocci was excellent also. My husband loved it.We will definitely be back soon.We live in Florida, and now, every time we come back here to visit, we will be stopping in.“
“I come here all the time to get either a slice of cheese pizza or just a slice they have tons of different options the food is to die for customer service here is great they are always nice to you and respects you and plus they have tons of drink options the regular bottles or the cans when also they have very good desserts like red velvet cake, carrot cake ,and cheese cake you should you really go to Sara’s pizza and try out a slice of cheese pizza .“
“Our dining experience at Campanale's yesterday was a welcome throwback the finer dining that seems to have disappeared from today's restaurants. We loved everything! The server was delightful. The pace was perfect...neither rushed nor delayed, with nice little pauses between the arrival of drinks, salads and bruschetta, and main courses. The food was fantastic - creative, very fresh, and beautifully presented. I had the Chicken Gorgonzola and my sister had the Chicken Saltimbocca. Portions were very generous and we brought the leftovers home to enjoy again. The vibe was casual elegance with nice white tablecloths, great music, and since it was early afternoon, diners were seated with enough space between tables to allow quiet conversation. Absolute Heaven!“
“Great spot. Classic red sauce Italian American food prepared right. Menu and prices are 5/5. Cozy atmosphere. Homemade bread and dipping oil are delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.Parking: On street parking in a popular area parking is limited.Kid-friendliness: I’m sure kids are welcome, but this is not the first place I would take a kid.“
“Absolutely delicious! The person who took my order of the phone I believe his name was Joey, was so sweet and helped me narrow down what I wanted as I am pregnant and picky lol. The delivery was a sweet woman who was so helpful as well. Again, the food was delicious and fresh and my toddlers loved it as well! I will definitely be ordering again!“
“Great little out of the way restaurant! The Mexican Street Corn Dip is incredible. My French Dip had A LOT of gristle, but Linda, our bartender/server, had them make me another one, and it was perfect. My husband had the Chicken Noodle soup and the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich and loved both. If we get a chance, we will go back.“
“We had a very sweet friendly server. We sat in the bar/lounge area at a high top and the sun was streaming in the window. Very bright & comfortable. My sister & I love sharing plates at lunch. So we shared an Arugula salad with blackberries & pine nuts& it was wonderful. We also had the Calamari which are not the typical batter fried and are so tender & delicious. We also had the glazed pork ribs on a bed of Cole slaw. I could have eaten that whole dish myself. We also each had a perfectly crafted Blood Mary .“
“Wanted to ensure we recognized Sara. Ordered food to be ready for 730pm. When we arrived as the food was being packaged the bag busted and food fell to floor. My wife called me to explain what happened and I called the restaurant and spoke with Sara. She sens 2 10.00 gift cards with the completed meal. When we opened food at home we noticed that 2 meals were incorrectly made and was missing 1 meal. I called back and spoke with Sara and she was so apologetic. So once again we got in the car and drove back. Sara came out to see me apologize and ensured us the meal would be comped. This girl trying to manage a kitchen with 2 new associates and having this happen handled herself very well and made sure it was about customer satisfaction. We have not seen the refund as of yet but it is a weekend so we'll wait until Monday. But a big shout out to Sara for making a horrible experience a happy one at the end. 5 stars for sara the girl with the purple hair. Lol“
“We got to Corfinio about 15 minutes early, but we were still seated within a couple of minutes. We had drinks, fried calamari, the veal chop (a special) and veal Milanese. Our waitress was attentive and cheery. Portions were above average, except that the veal chop and sides were huge. We did not go hungry. The food was all very tasty and promptly served. The meal cost what meals in an upper-middle restaurant cost in early 2024: nearly $150 for two people, including tax and tip.“
“I'm a New Yorker and most know New Yorkers are dead serious about our pizza. I've lived in New England for over 20 years and the only time I get real pizza is when I go home .....but TODAY everything changed because this pizza is so freaking good. The flaky crust and awesome sauce is homemade...It even has the right amount of grease? ❤❤. It takes 25 min to get here.from my house because I'm located outside of her delivery zone AND THATS OK because I need that space between us???And SHE SELLS BY THE SLICE!!! Thats means a lot to this girl from Queens. This Place is the truth . If you live in or near Rockland or just visiting stop in and grab a slice❤“
“Huge, delicious sandwiches piled high with perfectly sliced Boar's Head meats. Quick, friendly staff and tons of parking. If you're a sandwich fan and can make it to the Canton-Stougton line before closing time, you should try A Cut Above.“
“So I ordered 3 LG steak and cheese . 2 plain and one with onions and peppers on line. I didn't realize I put them with all with onions and peppers. Went back in side told them it was my mistake. I asked can you make me 2 plain steak and cheese and I will pay for them as it was mistake. He told me no it's okay.“
“I'm a new customer of theirs. These folks are amazing chefs. Every sub I've had from here has been amazing. Way beyond my expectations! I'm trying to their Steak and Cheese as I write this review. It's the best I've ever had! Last week I had a BLT. Couldn't finish it. The week before I ordered a Roast Beef sub with extra sauce and Mayo. Ask to have it spread throughout the meet. They did exactly what I asked. That was incredible. Brought me back to the Mur Mac days!“
“Our car unfortunately broke down right outside this place, and the staff were lovely about it. While killing time we bought some goods, and had a delicious massive 9.5/10 meatball sub chock full of meatballs. Totally beats breaking down last time off of the highway in freezing rain in comparison.“
“Great local spot with upscale food and drinks. We sat at the bar and split a pizza and had a few cocktails, bartenders were friendly, specialty drink menu had lots of great choices. I ordered a Manhattan which tasted off balance but didn’t go to waste! My husband got 2 espressos, one black and one creamy, the creamy was too sweet for me but if you like sweet, it was amazing. The pizza was delicious- sausage, pepperoni, bacon with ricotta and hot honey I think ??♀️. I was worried it would be too “meaty” but it was a good balance and not overwhelming, a little greasy but I don’t think it could be avoided. Gets crowded but we eventually got bar seats at 8 pm on a Friday. The staff says the rush is 4-6. Shout out to Matt at the bar, hard worker and makes a great drink!“
“I have been here a couple times and each time, I am NEVER displeased. I can’t say the same for the other locations though. I got the carbonara and stick to that usually which is always impeccable. I’ve had my food right after I get into the car after leaving and reheated leftovers and the food is perfect either way. The garlic bread with cheese is massive and so tasty!“
“Been going there since they opened. We usually get the sicilian and sometimes garlic knots. After moving up from NY nowhere around here has garlic knots. I'll have to update this post next week with a picture before the kids get to the pizza. He's in a great location and has really good pizza. If you haven't been there yet, order online and pick yourself up a a pie (recommend the Sicilian square)“
“Ordered a couple of subs, steak n' cheese and BBQ chicken. It was around 1030pm, they close at 11 I think. End of day orders are always risky but we were hungry. Hot diggity dog. Sometimes the planets align and awesome things happen. The steak and cheese was good, nothing out of the ordinary (which at times is exactly what we need). The bbq chicken sub though, what an experience. Such a simple item on the menu tasted so dang delicious. The chicken was cooked right, the BBQ sauce sweet with that little tang that makes it stand out. I can genuinely say this was the best BBQ sub I have had in braintree. BRAVO!“
“So happy we found this amazing restaurant. Customer Service was phenomenal. Our servers were so friendly and professional (and handsome too ;) Food and cocktails were mouth watering delicious. Atmosphere- decor is beautiful! Can’t wait to come back again!“
“My mom and I love this restaurant. When we go out this is always a top choice for us.The chicken parm is the best.Today I had the pot roast because the last time we went my mom had it and I was jealous! Just as good as hers, but I do wish there were carrots today! So yummy! Our server, Charlene was wonderful and recommended a dessert she made for is herself! The coffee was REALLY good! The hostess is always fantastic, too. I work in a restaurant. And I know how hard this work is. Thank you La Familia for making dining look easy and taste great!“
“I order from here weekly and love it. My favorite is my salad: garden salad, chicken cutlet with provolone cheese on top, no dressing, no croutons, no bread. So good! Steak and cheese calzone is so good I could cry. Same for chicken cutlet calzone, no sauce with onions. Jimmy and Maria are the sweetest souls. Don't forget the Pizza, I LOVE their pizza.“
“This is a great place to dine in and have drinks. I love it here and I would gladly recommend it to anyone. Marcus is very kind and an amazing server and always checking to make sure all the customers are satisfied. Come check it out. You won’t regret it.“
“Excellent pie!!! Just happened upon this quaint little place. Tried the mushroom and also a pepperoni pizza. The crust is thin and light, the sauce was a perfect compliment to the cheese blend on top. Will definitely be ordering here again! Loved it!“
“Tried Rosie's for the first time. Solid pizzeria. Went with the meat lovers. Just the right amount of toppings. Not too greasy. Good cheese and sauce coverage. Pizza dough is good and had a nice crunch. Very tasty overall. Very little flop. Easy access and good parking. One of those shops where you wish they were closer. Definitely one of the better pizzas I've had recently. Google should do half stars, because they are 4/5 territory. Don't get hangry, get some pizza.Parking: Off street and plenty of room.“
“Excellent food. Their regular portions of pasta dinners last days for me. Their Chicken Broccoli Alfredo is the best I've ever had. Their subs are delicious, my favorite is their Turkey Cobbler, which you may have to ask specifically by calling. It's not on the menu but they'll do it for you. Five stars all around in my opinion. ?“
“Very nice, comfortable, and clean. Family owned, and they are always there. The Arincini and sweet and sticky balls were incredible. My wife had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Shrimp Scampi which were both spot on. Looking forward to going again soon and trying something else.“
