Checked out Jacks Coal Fired pizza for the first time met up with my brother and his wife for dinner since my husband was craving pizza. Started with fried ravioli and lemon chicken wings for apps and a bottle of the meiomi Pinot noir. The apps were pretty average and the fried ravioli were basically frozen and microwaved. I have the pizza at jacks regularly and it is excellent. In fact, my family likes it so much we will make the 20 minute trip for take out. Best pizza in the Boston metro area for my money.

I've been here several times, and before tonight I would agree with Dave Portnoy score high 7 low 8. Tonight I give the pizza low 6, I don't know how they can make 2 completely different pizzas, maybe the pizza maker. manager should keep an eye on the pizza being served. Having said that, service was great, and I'll try again to see if they just had an off night.
