The associate informed me about the rewards program and gave me an opportunity to leave a gratuity for her. I wasn't given those options during my previous visits. The associate also asked whether I was purchasing a gift, or a treat for myself. She hit all the marks of great service and salesmanship.
Never had Macarons before until I decided to get a treat for myself. Olivia was the employee on duty. Asked Olivia for flavor recommendations for first-time purchasers. Olivia replied, "Definitely try out Cookies 'n' Creme, Lemon Tart and Pina Colada." Never mind ice-cream, I want to come back for Macarons!
