They know what they are doing at Helmand. On a Saturday night it was full so it was noisy and crowded. There is no room between tables. The food came promptly. Our waiter was efficient and friendly.
A must-not miss restaurant! Physically, one of the most beautiful restaurants you will find. The service and presentation were excellent. Very family friendly. The bread is baked on premise in a wood oven. It is served with an array of dipping sauces. My companion and I each had Kourma Challow with Lamb. I had that feeling of: this food is so delicious that I want to eat every morsel, but the portions are so plentiful that I can't. Helmand is delightful!

Great flavors. We had the Aushak as starter, the dopiyaza and koufta challow for mains, and finally topped off with the pistachio and cardamom ice cream. Very fulfilling dinner experience for our anniversary.
