“Tiny pizza shop in Cambridge. Cash only but they have an ATM inside. We ordered three slices of the Sicilian and a large half pepperoni and half pineapple pizza. The pizza was great. Love the taste of the bread and also the quality of the pepperoni was great. The Sicilian pizza was good but not as good as the pepperoni/pineapple.We'll be coming back as this was an overall great dinner.Parking: Street parking on multiple street around“
“Wow. Wow. Wow. Honestly blew us away. I’m a classic pizza person however, we went for the ramen pizza and I have zero regrets. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. Insanely wonderful service. If you go, and he’s available, ask for Danni. He will give you the most honest recommendations while also making you feel right at home. A truly wonderful experience.“
“I recently learned that this place opened in Boston, Ma 7 months ago. When I go to or drive through New York City I always have to stop at a Joe's Pizza... usually the one on Fulton St. I live in Fall River so that's a 3 hour ride. They've got some of the best NY style pizza in my opinion. The toppings are simple yet delicious and the crust is crispy and light and just perfectly cooked. You can order by the slice or order a whole big pie. This new location in Boston definitely did not disappoint, the employees were pleasant, patient and helpful to all of the people walking in, some you could tell it was their first time. The pizza tasted just like the Joe's in NY and it's 2 hours closer. I was told that they are looking to open another location in Ma. I hope they open many more across the state... it would be nice to have a Joe's close to home.“
“Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. We enjoyed all of our dishes and left satiated and happy with the experience. The renovations (since Loyal 9) are thoughtfully decorated. Not a lot of vegetarian options so would recommend ensuring vegetarians review the menu beforehand.“
“I went there after seeing the special pizza recommendation in the comments and it was really delicious!!! It's really delicious even without adding cheese, but I plan to try it with added cheese next time. The dough is also delicious. I'm curious about other pizzas too.“
“A hole in the wall moms and pops place. Randomly went in there for slice and turns out to be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Lately we’ve been going around enjoying all the New York franchise pizza that have recently opened up in Massachusetts and they don’t even compare…that includes Frank Pepe, Sally, A pizza, and Joe’s NYC pizza. You must try this pizza. The inside could definitely use a facelift, however, the family that works there are very friendly and welcoming.“
“I have grown to consider Mothership as a solid option of the past few months! I'm glad to see new items on the menu and look forward to have a much better menu option in the future. The food is good overall but the menu is limited to certain items. I recommend this place to be added to anyone's list of restaurants in Cambridge.“
“Had a great experience with my two little boys today. I ordered a chicken parm calzone and they made it a little bigger so we could all have enough. They also gave me advice on where to park so I wouldn't get an awful parking ticket! Super friendly place with satisfying food.“
“Pretty good pizza. Affordable and down to earth, despite you being "at Harvard".The interior features the owners with a lot of people of academia, Mark Zuckerberg, and international figures, meanwhile the seating includes that nice light aluminum chair. Being from the Midwest, the Sicilian slices they offer reminds me most of Jet's Pizza. They're rectangular, reasonably thick, and crisp around the edges. The choice of garnishes (parmesan, oregano, and hot pepper) complement each slice perfectly and you'll still feel a pepper seed about 10 minutes after leaving this place, which made it feel really special.“
“They have great grilled pork chop dinner. They are center cut and cooked to perfection. The fish on Friday’s is fresh and it’s good whether you get it fried or broiled. The staff there are great and friendly. You can eat on either side. One side is equipped with a full bar, 3 large TV’s and a Keno screen. The place is normally filled with neighborhood folks or people who grew up in Cambridge. It’s a great friendly atmosphere with great service and good food!“
“Area Four is a fantastic spot! I recently tried their Mushroom and Fontina pizza with chicken, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which added to the overall great experience. My only suggestion would be to add more sauce options to make it even better. Overall, I highly recommend giving Area Four a try for a delicious meal and excellent service!“
“It's been over 5 years since I moved away, I still get regular cravings for the Half-Shell. Warm personable service from a family establishment is welcoming in the city. The food is fantastically satisfying, affordable, unpretentious, and delicious.Try the straktips with rice. I add greek dressing to mine.“
“Best chickens wings we’ve had in a long time. Calzone was dripping cheese too, just the way you like it.Husband and wife appear to be the owners and their two little kids just got out of school and provided fun entertainment.Very nice family, and very good food. Definitely worth a stop“
“Unquestionably THE best pizza in all of Metro Boston -there is something truly magical about the crust. And the pizza is just one of the outstanding foods produced by Plum T and by far the nicest group of people in Harvard Square. Having moved from the Boston area to Canada, where they think frozen fries drowned in brown gravy and cheese curds is a food group, I miss Oggi’s every day.“
“I ordered garlic bread and a large Primavera pizza, which is larger than the large pizzas at other pizzerias. The pizza came with a good amount of toppings, and the thin crust is also great! However, I would have liked the crust to be crisper. Overall, it was a good quality pizza at a reasonable price. They have a lot of options for vegetarians, which is a plus.“
“I didn't go into the restaurant, which is the reason behind me not rating the atmosphere. However, delivery was delicious! I got the aglio e olio, cheesy garlic bread and cannoli. The pasta was fresh, and seasoned well (note they put a fair amount of red chili flakes, so I'd ask no chili flakes if you aren't into spicy!). Of course the cheesy garlic bread and cannoli were yummy too. If you want some reasonably priced fresh pasta and associated fare, I would recommend stopping in here!Vegetarian options: I got the aglio e olio and there were other options that were vegetarian friendly.“
“I can't say enough good things about the food here. It always takes me SO LONG to order because I know everything will be delicious and perfect every time and it's hard to choose. Service is wonderful, food is wonderful and reasonably priced. One of my favorite places.“
“It really is the best pepperoni pizza in Boston. While I would love to gatekeep this Harvard Square gem, I can't. Great food, cocktails, and beer list. The warmest and most welcoming staff around. You'll come back again and again.“
“Came for dinner. I have been several times and the dishes are always interesting, but the execution is always a bit lacking. I find the food too oily and lacking in distinctive flavor. The pizza was particularly disappointing - it was freshly made and should have been delicious, but ultimately too greasy with too much cheese and not enough flavors that came through. It's almost like a generic frozen pizza, but made fresh. That said, there is good variety and the basics are there. Most people will be happy with their meal. The food is consistently good, but I haven't found much great here.“
“Popped in here after an early PT appointment looking for a breakfast sandwich and good coffee before going to work. This place looks brand new. It's tucked away near the Fresh Pond mall. I ordered the huevos Diablo sandwich and a dark chocolate mocha. I sat down in one of the many comfy chairs while I waited for my order to come out, but didn't have to wait very long at all. I took a peek at the food before I took it to go. The sandwich looked delicious and the home fries that came with it where amazing! Whatever seasoning they're putting on those is absolutely delicious. The dark chocolate mocha was phenomenal. The breakfast sandwich didn't disappoint. The egg was perfectly over easy, the chorizo and the special sauce were absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I decided to make a quick pitstop and will definitely be back here.“
“An absolute delight! Every dish was simply superb, bursting with exquisite flavors. Yet, what truly stood out during this visit was the exemplary attitude of the staff. Their kindness, warm smiles, and swift responsiveness added an unforgettable human touch to this culinary experience. A big thank you to the entire team for making this meal so memorable!“
“I feel like people really sleep on Otto's when it comes to pizza in Harvard Square. Pinnochios this, Joe's that...lets talk about Otto's! I personally think that Otto's is the best in the square, and here's why. 1. The sauce. When it comes to pizza, it is my FIRM belief that it is the sauce that makes the pizza. At Otto's, their sauce is unbeatable. It is delightfully tart and creates a wonderful tomato y kick to the other flavors in the pizza. With bad/mediocre pizza, you never really notice the sauce. It's just kind of there because thats what goes on pizza. At Otto's, the sauce presents itself to you in a very pleasing way that really makes the pizza memorable. 2. Thinness. I personally am a fan of thin pizza, and Otto's does this well. The proportion of sauce to cheese to dough is just right in my opinion. It doesn't feel like bread with a topping of cheese and sauce, it doesn't feel like sauce soup with a little bit of bread and cheese mixed in, and it doesn't feel like I'm just eating cheese. 3. Creativity of flavors. At Otto's you can get your classic Margarita or Pepperoni pizza, but if you're feeling adventurous they've got more than enough creative options for you, such as roasted yam, applewood bacon & fried sage, or caramelized pear, blue cheese, & arugula. The only slight negative to Otto's is the inside. There are no tables and one meager little bench area with enough room for four people max, but even then it is super squished and just not great ambiance. So while Otto's I think wins in the flavor department, its best to get it takeout. Other than that, I love Otto's and will always be a fan. (Also its super reasonably priced!)“
“As a New Yorker, was hesitant to get pizza this far from home but was pleasantly surprised. Food was good, service was great. Even hit us with a couple of jokes. I'd go back if I were in town. Definitely one of the best food options in the area.“
“I ate the best pizza in town. This was my first time at Beauty's Pizza, and I've always heard the food is great. So I stopped by their store in Cambridge today and it was really good. In addition to pizza, they have a huge menu with so many options plus its halal.#“
“It's nearly impossible to find good pizza in Cambridge or Somerville these days, so I'm glad I tried this place. The dough was very gummy; not a good characteristic at all. But everything else about the pizza was so right that it compensated a bit. I give it a solid 8 out of 10. If they were to spray a bit of olive oil on the dough before applying the sauce and other toppings, that would get rid of the gummy problem. It they took care of that, and added a bay leaf to the sauce (pro pizza sauce tip), they would be the only 10 in town.“
“We were craving for some pasta but didn’t want to go to North End. Our first time here and did not disappoint! Had the Grilled Calamari to start and it was incredibly flavorsome dish! The Pasta (Chitarra and Bolognese) that we ordered was cooked perfectly al dente and it was simply satisfying and very enjoyable! We’ll definitely go back to try other dishes! Antonio from Napoli was a great host! “Molto Bene!”Dietary restrictions: Dessert was Gluten Free Chocolate CakeParking: Parking Lot nearby available“
“Absolutely scratches the beef itch. Quality of the beef is variable, but generally pretty good. I’ve had some dimes here that were pink, warm, and incredible. I’ve also had some that were grey and unremarkable.Regardless, if you want a beef, this will do the trick. Not sure where else you would get anything better in Cambridge. The fries are great.“
“The girls are always smiling and Carlos makes it more like family then business by knowing what people want as they are walking up to being on a first name basis with customers. You guys are an irreplaceable aspect of our little neighborhood. 5 stars does no justice.“
“Great Tavern near Harvard. Great bar area. The food was good. I had the short ribs with mash potatoes and Brussel sprouts. My family had burgers which they said were great. We also had the steak Frites which were good as well. Hands down the best butternut squash soap I ever had.“
“I love the pizza here! My reservation process was seamless; I reserved via OpenTable and my table was ready as soon as I arrived. The drink options on the menu did not appeal to me, as I don't drink alcohol and the only non-alcoholic drinks listed were mocktails under "Zero-Proof," all of which were more than $6. My server was very accommodating and allowed me to order iced tea with simple syrup for $3, an item not on the menu. I wish that the menu listed soft drinks or tea, though. The pizza and garlic knots are very good, but they are a bit pricy - I don't know if they were overpriced because I'm not sure what the local cost of ingredients or labor is, I just know that I personally would rather not pay so much.“
“I ordered takeout at Cambridge House of Pizza since I’d been seeing it on walks in the area. It always smelled SOOOO good. I decided to check it out. The service was really good. There were only two people working, but they were nice, chatted and got orders out quickly.I ordered a pepperoni calzone. Which was good. It had the nice salty cheesy unhealthy feeling but didn’t give heartburn and wasn’t overly greasy. I will definitely be back to order from here again.Note on price: it was $13 which felt mostly reasonable.Edit: I went back for an olive pizza a few days ago and it was pretty good, but not as good as the calzone. I wanted to order one of the specialty pizzas, but those are more expensive than some at artisinal places, so I didn’t.“
“The absolute best every time we order. delivery’s always prompt, food’s always hot; it’s affordable relative to anywhere else like it and the staff is incredibly affable. We recently made a double order error that should’ve been our responsibility, but they went out of their way to help void the transaction. The chicken tenders are legitimately incredible“
“Great place to grab a quick coffee and breakfast.I had the cold brew and breakfast burrito 2 days in a row and both were delicious! The coffee was good and strong not watered down at all and the breakfast burrito was full of flavor and wrapped well. It didn’t fall apart as you ate it.Nothing particularly special that blew me away but I would recommend going here!“
“Very great service and amazing foods. The pizzeria is very friendly and attentive. The food fills you up and is extremely delicious. I recommend this place for families and college students! Awesome owner too! Did I forget to mention that the prices are also reasonable.“
“Decent food, albeit with a few caveats.Having tried their subs and pasta in the past, I recently revisited to sample their pizza and wings. First off, the slices on display gave me a pause. They looked like they’d been sitting out for a while, appearing dry and slightly uninviting. I took a chance on a Buffalo chicken slice, and it was reinvigorated somewhat after reheating. The slice came out with a surprisingly crunchy crust, reminiscent more of a flatbread pizza than a typical pizza slice. The pasta, consistent with my previous experiences, was served in generous portions. It was straightforward, featuring sausage and spaghetti in a combination that's hard to mess up. The Buffalo chicken wings, however, were overly seasoned and crossed the line into being too salty. If you're in the area and looking for a quick, hearty meal, it's worth a try—but perhaps keep your expectations tempered.“
“I was dejected from having the displeasure of a quite frankly awful experience at a putrid spanish restaurant down the street. I had decided to come here in a pinch to satiate my growing hunger, and it did not disappoint. The waiter was helpful and nice, and the environment was quite lovely. I was seated in a booth with my group, and I ordered the New york Bianca with Italian sausage and hot honey. The pizza was absolutely delicious and I couldn't recommend more. The other pizzas looked great as well.I can not speak on the appetizers as we did not order any. However, they looked good too.5/5“
