“No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches - after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for ~$14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys). It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us!). The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it - it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am.“
“I highly recommend this place! The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of vegetarian options available. There is also some street parking available. They have really good doughnuts and SandwichesPrice ?Quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“We wanted breakfast at 1030a and a quick search brought us to The Little Blue Bakery. Egg sausage cheese on an English muffin plus a breakfast burrito with egg bacon and cheese hit the spot. It takes longer than usual but the space is tight so we understand. Both were made to order and served piping hot. The eggs were fluffy! Delicious and recommend. Even the coffee was good and strong.“
“Tried for the first time and overall enjoyed the experience.Drinks: Mocha was well balanced and tasty.Sandwiches: Got the Darwin’s Mt. Auburn (turkey sandwich) and Strawberry Hill (beets sandwich). Both tasted good but were pretty messy to eat. They seemed a little hastily made (ie: bread toasted but cheese was not melted) and fell apart easily. People complain the sandwiches were too small, but I disagree. The Darwin’s was massive and the Strawberry Hill was a normal portion that would leave you satisfied.Atmosphere: cozy cafe vibes on one side.Prices: Felt a little high for lunch sandwiches but experience was positive enough that I felt like I’d gotten good value.Would return!“
“Thus place is unbelievable. Their subs are huge and delicious. It's a nice Location too...clean and it looks new. If you're looking for an Italian, meatball or chicken parm sub...this is your place. I live relatively close, so I often come here on my scooter.“
“A long time ago, I was out at a fancy dinner and asked the waiter for suggestions on where to eat around Boston. He offered up All Star Sandwich Bar. I went a few weeks later and really liked it. I started going all the time. Then, probably because I had a son, I just stopped.Well Monday, I went back, and it is a shame I went so long without eating there because I really enjoyed my sandwich. I got the Mr. Miyagi (love the name) which is Sweet chile ginger hoisin glazed pulled pork, Thai basil, cilantro, English cucumber, pickled daikon radish, carrots, fried egg and sesame sriracha aioli on a grilled sesame brioche roll. It was excellent. My wife got the cubano which I have enjoyed in the past and she said it was very good. My son had a grilled cheese and we all shared an order of fries. Other sandwiches I liked back when I used to go more often include the Beef on Weck, The Atomic Meatloaf, and occasionally a funky burger.Even though there is table service, the atmosphere is casual and the service is relaxed, so come as you are. The sandwiches are about $15 each and come with coleslaw and a pickle. Inman Square isn’t the easiest place to park but there is a lot on Springfield Street that sometimes has spots. Bottom line, if you want a good, not-so-ordinary sandwich, All Star Sandwich Bar is a good place to go. If you like it, you can thank that waiter who told me about it, whoever he was.“
“One of the cleanest Subways I've ever seen! If I knew the name of the corner store it is housed in, I'd actually bump the corner store's rating because of the Subway. Since this Subway is disguised as a corner market, and I actually began to doubt its existence....Until I walked in and saw it all the way in the back left hand corner, surrounded by scary dudes scratching lotto scratchers and typical convenience store shelves. All of the ingredients are pristinely displayed behind the spotless glass, and the veggies looked as fresh as they could possibly be. The sandwich engineers were polite, helpful, and friendly, and my sandwich was perfectly stuffed with ingredients -- no sloppy spillover here. The prices here are great, just like any other franchise location, and I love the fact I can get something healthy -- even though I want to strangle Jared.“
“Honestly still in shock. Just went here today for the first time. A great sandwich for under $15 AND in Kendall Square/Cambridge? Amazing.Update:I wrote this review halfway through my sandwich because it was so good and I needed people to know. Now that I'm done I'm left wanting more. Thanks for the great lunch!“
