“The best dumplings I’ve ever had. My friend and I ordered seafood dumplings and we enjoyed it. We also had pork soup dumplings which was quite decent too. I recommend trying Dumpling House for the best food options if you’re in Cambridge area.“
“Absolutely excellent meal with an excellent team. Starting with the amazing bread and butter and a ln orange creamsicle (adult version of a childhood favorite). Then the broccoli salad with poached egg (poached expertly creating a creamy sauce). I had the fusilli broccoli- home made pasta dressed beautifully. My husband had the chick pea stew - whole chick peas made this his favorite. Finished with delicious double chocolate chip cookies. Can’t wait to go back!“
“The oysters are amazing!! Came in with my dad, and had one of the best meals ever! We ordered A Tale of Two Oysters, and is the way to go. This way we both could try all 8 of the day’s oysters. Hailey was our server, and was absolutely amazing. She brought over paper menus to make it easier, as my father didn’t have his phone with him. She was attentive, engaging, and just a joy to be around. She treated each able as if they were her only table, and was great at explaining and offering suggestions. We will definitely be back!!“
“Lots to like, with a couple of notes. Good oysters, good beer, delicious pickled mussels. The seafood is our entrees was very fresh and the scallops were standout. The execution of the spaghetti with clams fell a bit short in the execution: The dish was noticeably sandy and had some shards of shell. We also observed our poured beers sitting for a few minutes before someone picked them up and brought them to us. But overall it was a very good meal in a very pleasant, not too loud setting.“
“Absolutely fantastic! Some of the best, and prettiest food in Boston! Authentic and creative, with passion in every detail. Amazing cocktails and wine list. Friendly, professional staff that make you feel at home at every meal! Our highest recommendation! Cheers!“
“Went here for my birthday dinner and loved it! Such a cozy little spot with plenty of options to choose from and an abundance of sake's to pick from! The space is a little small so I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time!“
“We loved everything about this place. The food was spot on. Our server, Jaysa was friendly, attentive and had wonderful recommendations. We were very impressed with the staff dynamic. If you are looking for great Peruvian food and feel good vibes-this is the spot! We will be “
“Absolutely delicious, the fish and shrimp muqueca was amazing and the fried yuca will be a staple in our household. Crab cake was good, as well. Definitely ask for a side of hot sauce if you can do spicy food! Feels very cozy, not at all corporate. Almost like you're part of the family. Definitely worth the price for the food.“
“The service was great! We were amazed by how sweet the workers were! Food was great of course! I love me a seafood boil! Usually it’s the service that makes or break my experience and it was definitely made by the two workers there tonight! So not come here if you’re going to be mean to the staff they deserve the world!“
“Wow. Wow. What a discovery! I ordered delivery and expected something “okay”. I am left speechless. This was arguably the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Quality, quantity, taste - phenomenal...I had the Mediterranean mix which was a great sample of all different tastes. The rice (usually just fill in deliveries) was excellent with that slight bit of saffron coating it. Thank you!“
“Amazing seafood dishes and cocktails as usual! The best service. We were impressed by the Caesar salad with lemon and anchovies, and the crab Rangoon dip is always a favorite. The “two fish” cocktail in a pitcher with two straws is delicious and fun!“
“Nice family restaurant, cozy and very clean. The staff is always welcoming, efficient and the food is great. Their tartar sauce is amazing! Would totally recommend! My family and I have been coming here for a few years and we never get tired of their food.“
“Little Donkey is an absolute gem. We were there for first seating at 10:30 am on a Sunday. Glad we had a reservation since they were very busy and tables we blocked off by 11:20. Our dishes were delicious and came out pretty quickly. Someone at our table had a nut allergy and every dish was brought out with a clearance of the allergy so that incase she wanted to try other dishes, she knew what was safe. The salmon and Tuna Tartar is delicious, but unbelievably small and honestly not worth the $19. We ordered it to hold us over while waiting for friends who were running behind. It is bare 4 actual bites. We learned from our waiter that most of the items we initially wanted were tiny. This is a really cute spot with an open kitchen which is cool to look into, and the bar tender is great at creating new drink concoctions.“
“They have great grilled pork chop dinner. They are center cut and cooked to perfection. The fish on Friday’s is fresh and it’s good whether you get it fried or broiled. The staff there are great and friendly. You can eat on either side. One side is equipped with a full bar, 3 large TV’s and a Keno screen. The place is normally filled with neighborhood folks or people who grew up in Cambridge. It’s a great friendly atmosphere with great service and good food!“
“Great building and a wonderful quaint restaurant is inside. Cozy seating in several small rooms. The menu includes seafood and pastas and more. My date started with the zucchini fritters and then had the fish and chips. I had the kale salad with salmon. My only complaint with my food was the hot salmon wilted the kale. I was just expecting a crisp salad. Not to worry though. Wine was a generous pour. Our waiter, Jeffrey was fantastic. Very attentive. There was live music playing starting at 6 PM which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Probably best to make a reservation as it's a small space.“
“Definitely an upscale place where people dress up. I was definitely not dressed for the occasion and yet all staff members were still very kind and attentive. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday night but service was still quick and my food was phenomenal! I got the salmon and it was delicious. I also enjoyed my cocktail. I came here in March but could see that they had a beautiful outdoor space. I will definitely be coming back in the summer to sit outside and enjoy this place again.“
“This place brings back the charm and soul of Harvard Square that's been missing for so long, and deserves nothing but five-star reviews IMO. I visited the bar on St. Patrick's Day, and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant faces south, so the sun was pouring in, and the vibe was just perfect. The owner greeted us with a smile and showed us to our seats right away. And let me tell you, the menu had something for everyone - even the pickiest of eaters would find something to love here. Since it was St. Paddy's Day, we went all out and ordered the corned beef and cabbage and fish and chips, and boy, were they delicious! I've never had corned beef and cabbage that tasted so good, and the fish and chips were fried to perfection. But that's not even the best part - a live band started playing at 4 PM, and the music was fantastic (I can't recall the band that was there tonight but it was Bon Iver Vibes A++). They have live music every Sunday. It's a top-notch spot that I can't wait to go back to again and again.“
“An absolute delight! Every dish was simply superb, bursting with exquisite flavors. Yet, what truly stood out during this visit was the exemplary attitude of the staff. Their kindness, warm smiles, and swift responsiveness added an unforgettable human touch to this culinary experience. A big thank you to the entire team for making this meal so memorable!“
“The seafood dishes at Casa Portugal are especially good. The fish is always fresh and perfectly cooked, and the shellfish are plump and juicy. The meat dishes are also excellent, and the stews are particularly flavorful. The wine list at Casa Portugal features a wide selection of Portuguese wines, from light and refreshing whites to bold and full-bodied reds. The staff is knowledgeable about the wines and can help you choose the perfect pairing for your meal.Overall, Casa Portugal is a great option for anyone looking for authentic Portuguese food at a reasonable price. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food and wine are excellent I definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“We rented the back room club for a Quinceanera in March '24. Janice and the team helped us with the event and made everything fit our budget. They circulated plentiful and very tasty apps and small plates. We had an open bar for adults and open soft drinks for kids and the bill was reasonable. The decor was classy, newly refreshed gorgeous wall paper and so we didn't need to add much. Everyone had a great time. One late comer missed food service but they were easily accommodated on request. Highly recommended for events! The team ensured the music was queued so we were able to save on DJ.Vegetarian options: We asked for vegetarian empanadas to be made in addition to toastones and maduros.“
“Diverse, interesting menu with ambitious range. These folks are making the extra effort. We tried something new on the menu and server was very interested in our reaction, took feedback back to kitchen. Loved seeing people so dedicated to improving their product.“
“Decent food, albeit with a few caveats.Having tried their subs and pasta in the past, I recently revisited to sample their pizza and wings. First off, the slices on display gave me a pause. They looked like they’d been sitting out for a while, appearing dry and slightly uninviting. I took a chance on a Buffalo chicken slice, and it was reinvigorated somewhat after reheating. The slice came out with a surprisingly crunchy crust, reminiscent more of a flatbread pizza than a typical pizza slice. The pasta, consistent with my previous experiences, was served in generous portions. It was straightforward, featuring sausage and spaghetti in a combination that's hard to mess up. The Buffalo chicken wings, however, were overly seasoned and crossed the line into being too salty. If you're in the area and looking for a quick, hearty meal, it's worth a try—but perhaps keep your expectations tempered.“
“Although we love the food here (perfectly cooked swordfish a notable recent example), and we come back often, the place could use a facelift. Exhibit A is the women's rest room: most of the stall doors don't lock and it has a generally gloomy, even down-at-heel, appearance. This gives an impression of neglect (that reflects on the whole establishment) as well as being non-functional when you can't even depend on privacy.“
“Fresh seafood, relaxed atmosphere with attentive service.Kid-friendliness: Great option for those dining with young kids. We asked for a highchair in ourreservation and not only was it set up at our table ahead of time they had laid out a kids menu and crayons.“
“A Chinese run Sushi restaurant. Food are tasty but seems like pricy for a little non-authentic Japanese restaurant. We ordered one Eel don one Udon noodle, and one signature role $85! I don’t know how was that happened. The price went up a lot, we have to scan QR code to get the latest price. One thing I noticed, eel don has increased $5 from the printed menu.“
“Jake made sure every step of our meal was delivered without fail. He was funny and kind, asking us where we’re visiting from and even giving us some recommendations for entertainment in the area. We will be back, thanks to Jake! We have recommended this place to many people! Ask for Jake for amazing service!“
“Hidden in the residential area is the best lobster roll I have ever eaten! The weather was nice last weekend, so this lobster lover finally came to check out the lobster roll at this seafood shop. Lobster sandwich: It is obviously just ordinary bread, but it is fried until fragrant and then filled with thick fresh lobster meat. It only needs simple seasoning - a little mayonnaise, salt, black pepper and green onions to highlight the freshness and sweetness of the lobster. The bread is fried in butter but not greasy, and the cold lobster meat tastes fresh and chewy, not fishy at all, and basically uses the meat from the lobster body, unlike the lobsterroll in many restaurants that is cooked with tongs. It tasted so delicious, so I asked specifically, thinking that some magical sauce was added to the seasoning, but I didn't expect it to be that simple. wonderful! (The price is slightly more expensive now, $35 each.)After finishing one, I bought a second one and continued eating it in the evening. From now on, I will eat here probably once a week, it is very good! !I went and bought two more yesterday^ ^ Delicious!“
