The Rising is a solid pub with good atmosphere and service, and an excellent selection of draft beers. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. I most recently had Shepard's pie and enjoyed it. There was a small misstep with another member of my party's order which took some time to correct, but the item was comped by way of a apology. We always appreciate when a restaurant takes responsibility.
Located in Cambridge, MA, this Sports Irish-styled bar will serve you with a good range of tasty burgers, sandwiches but also fresh oysters and cocktails. Nice and homely place to relax with beer or cloudy cider, watch sports. Pop in for a brunch or lunch on your way to Harvard University or during the trip around lovely area of Cambridge.

Our food took especially long to come out. Our server was very apologetic. The Rising is a great bar/pub in Cambridge. Outstanding beer and whiskey selection! The hummus was delicious but the bread that came with it was a little chewy. The menu seemed a little sparse; I expected more options from the web site, but the food otherwise all seemed fine. Excellent bean soup was special of the day. Nice atmosphere. Early arrival half-price apps. Coming back and will review again.
