Charlestown Navy Yard Reviews
This is a stop along the Freedom Trail and includes a few awesome things to see. The first is the USS Constitution which is free to the public to tour. The next is the USS Constitution Museum which is a two story building that is entry by donation only. The USS Cassin Young is also docked there and opened for the public. This is also the site of the first dry dock system. While there, you can walk the grounds, take in the view of the city skyline, and enjoy the harbor.

The price is right (free). The location is right (Freedom Trail, so walkable if you're in the prime tourist areas of Boston anyway). And there's plenty to see between the USS Constitution, the USS Cassin Young, and the accompanying museums. There's plenty of historical information available so you can make this as much of an educational experience as you would like... or just enjoy climbing around the ships if that's your thing.
