“Wow, ten years since my last review. I'm happy to say that not much has changed. The area overall may not be what it once was, but Theodores has held strong. We showed up shortly after opening on a Saturday for an early dinner with some little ones in tow, and were lucky we didn't show up any later, as the line was out the door. Portions were still good, the brisket and burnt ends were delicious. The collard greens were good as well. Mac n cheese wasn't for us, but wasn't bad. The service was also great, even with them being pretty slammed. To double-down and quote younger me, "I'd likely frequent the place if I worked in Springfield".“

“Had a great night on a date with my beautiful girlfriend. We were quickly sat at a table by the window and caught a beautiful view of the sunset. Our waitress was friendly and did a ok job. The smoked wings are really darn good. Have plenty of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow for lunch.Dietary restrictions: My lady is highly allergic to gluten and she was perfectly fine after dinner“
“The place is really nice and the food was so good. I went during the lunch special time and did bot the hot pot and the bbq. Good price and the food was delicious. Cj was our waiter and he was the best. He answered all our questions and made sure that my group was taken cared of.“
“No no no no, why 3 stars this is not correct!, Well, I'm definitely surprised for the overall score... it is not fair or I don't fell it, I like the mood of the place, music is really alternative, close to electronic, i love the music!, make really enjoyable every minute, I like the decoration of the place, because my wife and I like to drink we sit on the bar, bartender is phenomenal and nice, we order Nachos with pulled pork, they're really good, super loaded!, we got the burnt ends with a different touch and they're pretty good too, honestly the place is really nice, I just leave a 4 star on the food, because I can't forget a brisket sandwich that I tried in TX that is my no1, so want to specify the why, lol. I do recommend 100% this place“
“Overall a good experience! The atmosphere & the service were great. We would try again because of that. The food left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t bad at all. But it definitely wasn’t as good as we were expecting based on reviews. We got Nachos w/ chili, onion rings, garlic parm wings, a platter, brisket potato skins, Caesar salad, Mac and cheese, brisket tacos, French fries, carrot cake, chocolate cake, cheesecake with strawberries, and brownie sundae. We tried a little bit of everything as we like to do when we eat somewhere new. Dinner was okay. Just not great. The meat we found to be extremely dry however, the smoky flavor was great. The Mac & cheese was flavorless. Not cheesy at all! Like buttered noodles almost. The nachos were good but the toppings were just plopped on the very top / not spread around so most the chips were dry and there was very little toppings to try to spread on all of the chips. We got the 4 desserts to go and we all must say- they were the best part. Delicious dessert options!! The service was great from both our server and what I believe to be a manager when they got very busy. He jumped in and was helping the only server. Very nice people and they did a great job despite the rush.“
