Plenty of parking, not too noisy, easy to talk. Choice of food was pretty limited.

Great food but terrible service we spent almost $100 and the restaurant not driver forgot too include a part of our order yet the restaurant suggested we didn’t order that particular item because we ordered online but I made sure to have that receipt so when he verified we did order vegetable pakora the owner rudely then said he cannot deliver it and we would have to pay doordash again for there mistake. Terrible terrible service but food is great!

I hate leaving a bad review but I'm getting tired of going through the same thing at this place. The tables are clean. Food is usually good. A few of my orders have been wrong in the past but I think it's due to a language barrier sometimes. The floor in the dining area is always sticky and has been in need of some deep cleaning for quite a while, but I can live with that. I usually take my food to-go.For some reason, whenever I come in person to dine-in, I end up waiting too long to be seated. Today was no different. I walked in and stood where it says please wait to be seated. A couple walked in behind me. We waited to be seated. An employee came from the kitchen, grabbed menus, and asked the couple behind me if it was a table for two. They said yes and followed him to a table. This employee walked pass me, made eye contact, and went in the kitchen. He came out of the kitchen and stood in front of a register. I looked at him waiting to get his attention and he would look up periodically but kept doing something on the computer. He then walked over to check on different tables. Two other staff members (who looked like waiters) walked out of the kitchen and to the dining area to attend to other patrons dining in. I scanned around the dining room and noticed there were way more empty tables then occupied ones. I waited for almost 10 minutes before I finally left. Even a gentleman who was at the entrance waiting for his to-go order noticed.I have never, ever, had any issues or arguments with any of the staff ever, and I am a very generous tipper even for to-go orders, so I know it's not personal. I just think they prioritize larger parties. Because this is not the first time this has happened to me, I think some of the staff at this establishment could use some customer service training. They need to work on their attention to detail and respect all customers that walk through the door, irregardless of who they are or how many people are in their party, and not pick and choose. Common courtesy when staff see someone waiting, is to let them know someone will be right with them. That has never happened to me here. I just get odd stares. This literally happens almost every single time that I dine-in. I thought about calling and speaking to a Manager but I really doubt they would take it serious so maybe this review will get them to notice. Fortunately, there is another Indian restaurant nearby in Springfield.

Always delicious, my wife and I's favorite Indian food. The servers are all excellent and accommodating. The restaurant is beautiful as well with a warm atmosphere. We've been there four times since we discovered it.

Who even had the audacity to self-describe this establishment as “unpretentious”. I was there with my mother a few months back, both of us are Indian by the way (not that it matters, or should matter anyway) and there was a piece of foil, like that which might seal a bottle of liquid, in my food from the buffet. I brought it to the server’s attention and he did not make anything of it. Not only that but I heard him and his counterpart talking with a customer, presumably a regular, about how some people put stuff in the food so they can get free meals. The whole thing was unsettling. Furthermore, I am ServSafe Manager certified which is to say that I am certified to know what is acceptable and not acceptable in a food-service environment, in accordance with law and best practices. Priya apparently does not abide by these guidelines which should make anyone think twice, and then again, about eating there. If you’re looking for decent Indian food try Northampton, West Springfield, Springfield, or Connecticut.

I got the chicken vindaloo extra hot and it did not disappoint. It was actually extra hot and extra delicious. My husband got the chicken tikka masala and it was buttery and semi sweet. The service was impeccable. Great place, a definite must try. For drinks we ordered the king fisher beer and it was very smooth served on a cold glass and a Majarashi (spelling?) Punch. Both drinks were also tasty.

The food at Priya Indian Cuisine was excellent and the menu was extensive, The staff were very happy to answer questions. Every item on the menu indicates allergens: Nuts, gluten (wheat / celiac), dairy, vegetarian & spicy. A word of advice: for 3 out of 5 of us, the food was not labeled spicy, but was too spicy for us, because we are not used to eating spicy food! When you order, I recommend that you indicate the spice level you want, even if your dish does not indicate spicy. I had Navaratan Khorma, which is not labeled spicy, but was too spicy for me (I ate it and enjoyed it, and had no problems later, but it was a bit nerve wracking!) Others in the party had Chicken Tika Sag and Aloo Gobi, which were too spicy for us, but very very tasty. The Masala Dosa was also excellent and not too spicy :). One person had Butter Paneer "extra spicy" and loved it!! The rice was good, the naan was good. They have Thums Up too, which I hear you can only find in India.
