“The brownies does taste a little different however the Butter Crunch are my favorites.... I've grew up these since the 80s. I will definitely stop the delivery guys for a fresh batch...”
“Our waitress Kristy was pleasant, efficient and very friendly. She had us laughing throughout the night. Came back to check on us several times, we were not just another table. This is my 2nd visit here and the food is delicious, taste and presentation have been great. I look forward to my next visit”
“Great job Dunkins!Went in around 130 on Christmas when no other Dunkins was open. Very long lines in the drive thru so I went inside no line at all because these employees were very fast. I got 2 large ice teas and a strawberry refresher with a turkey sausage egg and cheese croissant I waited less then 3 minutes and was on my way. I'd say this owner knows how to get enough employees on staff to handle all us dunkin people from all over the south shore I came up from Plainville. Great job and thankyou.”
“We are new to the area and ordered It’s Just Wings on DoorDash - completely loved it! It was delicious and the flavors were super yummy. The curly fries complimented the wings a lot! Definitely will be eating here more.”
“The Tall Man and I were looking for a low key hangout with baby in tow, and Distraction Brewing was the perfect place. This new-to-us brewery on the cute pedestrian-only Birch St. had an outdoor patio but we opted for seats inside. It's not a big place, but it has a good number of tables and bench seating in a brightly lit space. The Tall Man got the autumn flight of 4 beers (one being one of their maltinis), which he enjoyed for their variety. I wasn't up for imbibing so I got a Health-Aid kombucha from the fridge. (They also carry Athlete's nonalcoholic beer in cans.) They have some packaged snacks for purchase, but they encourage people to get food from local businesses to eat there. It was pretty darn convenient to pick up lunch from nearby Chilacates. It made for a very chill lunch and sip. We weren't even the only ones with a stroller! It was a relief to find a brewery that's not utterly mobbed and where we could bring the little one. I would definitely come back for another relaxing hangout.”
“We stopped into the Brassica Kitchen and Cafe as a party of three on a Saturday evening in March. I read that this was a popular spot in the Jamaica Plains section of Boston and decided to book a reservation. I recommend booking early because this is a popular location. The restaurant is located on the street with street parking available. When we entered the restaurant, all of the tables were taken. However, we were seated quickly when the next table opened up. While we waited, we were greeted by the bartender who recommended a drink of the menu based on our taste.Once seated, we reviewed the menu, which included many unique items you won't find at traditional restaurants. There is an option on the menu to try most of the dishes that they call "The Ride" which consists of many small plates. Two of us ordered "The Ride" and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our waiter brought a small dish every few minutes and explained what was on each dish. Everything was very unique and delicious. We also ordered the fried chicken, which was very good. The service during our meal was great. During our dining experience, the bartender came over to our table to bring us another drink order and had a drink with us. The only issue we had was the donut (part of "The Ride") at the end never came out. They ended up getting us the donut to go and added a piece of flan in the bag.Overall, we really enjoyed our dining experience, and all of the the food and drinks were top quality. I highly recommend stopping into Brassica Kitchen and Cafe if you are in the Boston area and want to try something unique.”
“Atmosphere nice , brew ariste was very nice and accommodating at the counter. I had a sample of fiver (hazy ipa) nice and smooth. Not too hoppy. Very smooth. I also had the rice brew which was nice taste. Tried the stout. To strong for my palate. Good atmosphere…”
“There are so many great items on the menu! This was our second time for dinner (and we've been for brunch a couple times). Definitely recommend sharing multiple smaller plates to enjoy as much of the selection as possible. The Greek dumplings are a highlight as was the cauliflower with pistachios. But honestly, we loved every bite! The ambiance is good. Low lighting and a little loud (lots of people close together) so depends if you like that vibe.”
“Talia is the BEST! She made our visit amazing and we love her! She’s so engaging and on top of everything and we will be back to visit again soon. We loved the “fun fact”!”
“This is the best bakery for classic pastries. I recommend their chocolate or guava and cheese croissants. I’m also a fan of the morning bun. Their menu doesn’t really change but I always order the same things each time I’m there. It’s a very small place but they do have a few tables and bathrooms.”
“Arrived early, seated early and service started as soon as we were comfortable. Drinks and food options presented and chosen. Everything arrived as requested and was thouroughly enjoyable.”
“Great combination of welcoming neighborhood place, and fancy enough to feel special. Their outdoor patio is delightful and the menu has something delicious for everyone!”
“Truly amazing service and food. Highly recommend if you love Indian food or if you have yet to try it. Expansive menu and friendly knowledge staff who will make sure you pick something you will love.”
“This food is amazing and so delicious! Everything was so fresh and flavorful! I highly recommend this place! Everything from the service to the food was top notch! The mac and cheese is some of the best I’ve had!!”
“I love this place. My friends introduced it to me when I first moved to the area and my husband, son, and I have been going ever since. They do dollar oysters every day until 5:30pm, which is hard to find these days. It's the best deal in town! We also love the poutine and there's usually a few great local/seasonal beers on draft. Great atmosphere and the guys who work here are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend!”
“Love Johnny's for a quick and delicious meal for my family that we don't feel guilty about eating. Super friendly staff that provide a great variety of options throughout the week.”
“Cool atmosphere, great coffee and tea drinks. Breakfast is awesome and lunch is always delicious. Super friendly service, the staff is amazing. Highly recommend!”
“5 star But?5 star for quality but ice cream sizes are too large! They have large, medium, small, kiddo and tiny tot sizes. I got two tiny tots for my kids and both couldn’t finish them. Understand this is America and average clients wants this but honestly one tiny tot size is good for two kids. I like to get less quantity at top quality and more often. Good thing is that you don’t feel sick after eating this ice cream.”
“Excellent food, gluten free accommodating, excellent service, and vibrant atmosphere. You can tell the owners and staff are aiming for a great guest experience.Dietary restrictions: Happily ate here gluten free!”
“Fabulous fantastic a great evening of food and service. A neighborhood gem that we only found during Dine Out but will return to again and again. Huge portions for their Dine Out menu - we tried it all and ate leftovers for several other meals. The salmon was unique and spot on; special seasonal salad perfect and carbonara not to be missed. We cannot wait to return. Thanks for treating us like family!”
“Cozy little cafe serving shockingly good Mediterranean food. We are huge kebab + rice fans and boy this didn't disappoint. We are so used to lamb kebabs being too firm but this lamb was perfectly cooked - juicy and tender. The spices used on the meat + veggies in the combo dinner were scrumptious. You get these cute little roasted peppers mixed in with the rice, a delicious salad, and fresh made hummus. Everything was incredible. The combo meal fed us both for dinner and lunch the next day. Great for the price too! I can't wait to come back.”
“Tried the chicken wings lemon pepper 7.5/10, beef ribs 8/10, spicy chicken 7.5/10, both fries 7/10, rice was different 7/10, sweet corn was very good 8.2/10..Give this place a try! YELLA!!”
“Four cakes in 3 years from Weesh, all have exceeded expectations. Elyse is incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. She recently made my son the most incredible Cars themed cake for his birthday. The most unique part about Weesh is that she decorates with buttercream which tastes so much better than fondant! The cakes still look gorgeous and bonus, every cake is as delicious as it is beautiful.”
“Excellent all around. The salad was a bit more ordinary, but the kale salad was really nice with a mix of flavors and hearty greens. The jerk chicken was moist and tender, and nicely seasoned. The chipotle chicken might even be better! Small flavorful tender bits all around. The mac and cheese was a bit lacking - with there was more cheese flavor to go around. The beans and rice was delicious. The nicest might have been the plantains; they were really not too sugary, but had a nice sheen on the outside and cooked beautifully. So good!”
“Just found this gem!! The coffee is amazing. Old train station turned into a fun coffee shop. Must come on a Sunday morning when they have Union City Donuts delivered at 9am.”
“Breakfast was great, although we not only had to wait for a table, we waited longer for usual for our food, and I even had to wait longer for my tea, although I got the lemon wedge right away. Still, once everything was sorted we had a lovely breakfast.”
“I tried the gyro and was very pleased. It was pork not lamb which was new for me but tasted great. I saw the owners prepping the spinning meat stick for the next day. It all looked fresh and amazing. The owners are very nice. Will be ”
“What a charming place. Our waiter Lorenzo could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. We arrived shortly before closing and there was no rush to move us along. The food was amazing. It was a great meet up place for our family coming from north and south of the area.If you are ever in the vicinity be sure to stop in. You will not be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: The tree nut allergy was taken very seriously and all foods presented were free of any harmful nuts.Kid-friendliness: My grandson was a very hungry boy. The kitchen rushed out a yummy pancake to tied him over until all our meals were delivered. ( he also ate a chicken waffle Benedict”
“Very nice restaurant. Food was very good. We were a party of six plus a child and ordered a variety of foods all of which were generous in portion and very tasty. The service, however, could have been much better. I asked for a wine list. Server came back after a while and said they did not have enough wine lists, all are being used, and are waiting to get some and will be back. I finally got the wine list and ordered a bottle of wine. The server came back after an extended time with a glass of wine. I said I did not order a glass I ordered a bottle. Waited a while again and finally got a bottle for the table. I also told the server at the beginning that I would like the check as I am treating my guests. Well, when the check came out she put it in the middle of the table instead of giving it to me. However, the big snafu was when I got the check. Total bill was something like $375 which I thought was reasonable. I put down my credit card and the server came back with a charge of $525 or something close to that without any explanation. When server was called over and questioned she said she had given us the wrong check originally. We told her she should have explained that to us. In a final analysis, I think I just had a very inexperienced server. I would definitely go back as I do not believe the server's poor performance was a true indication of the good quality food.”
“Great Shah’s spot. I have been to multiple shah’s (both in Virginia and Mass). This is the largest and cleanest one I have been to. It is also well lit. They have good customer service and fast service. There are enough parking spots. In my opinion, both Shah’s and Naz’s are miles ahead of Halal Guys. I like Halal Guys as well but Shah and Naz’s are both superior.Combo over rice is my favorite. Their fries were okay. I recommend combo over rice to any new folks. Their hot sauce isn’t that hot. I had two lines and my bowl wasn’t that spicy. Get at least one and definitely get their white sauce. This is your spot if you like NY style halal bowls.Vegetarian options: Their fries were okayDietary restrictions: Their white sauce has dairyParking: Plenty of parking spotsKid-friendliness: Yes it is kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair accessible”
