“After the funeral, our family had a gathering. The locations scenery was fantastic. Great location for a wedding. Food was old-fashioned, and not the best. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. This has been my families go to for years when it comes to small family gatherings.“
“Ok was a little nervous the last two times I went BUT this time I picked up the reasonably priced seafood platter and it was literal perfection. Everything was fried perfectly, still crunchy when it got home and huge portion. For 39.00 it’s a big value. Could easily feed 2-3 people. Fresh and delicious. Well done guys. Keep it up.“
“Ever since being diagnosed with Celiac's I have been searching for a good gluten-free eggs benedict for years. I am not a fan of most gluten-free bread. I tried the eggs benedict, loved it, and went back the next week and tried the cinnamon roll. I have a new breakfast place. I can't wait to try the lunch menu.“
“Given our late arrival our hostess server bartender Ashley was unbelievable! She's a rarity these days! Took our order over the phone given that the kitchen likely would've been closed when we arrived! Instead shortly after our arrival our food was being served. And with great hospitality! She went above and beyond to accommodate us and I found that exceptional! Kudos to her! It's rare that I've received such service in the many places at which I've dined! In addition to the service the food was delicious! The 19 shrimp was delectable along with the paella and Mediterranean octopus we ordered! A very memorable evening I soon won't forget!“
“Free pizza with $29 purchase. I like to stock up for a couple of days on subs and throw them in the refrigerator for lunch during the week. Very reasonable prices and very friendly staff. You can eat there in peace and quiet if you want to or you can take out.“
“Just phenomenal everytime. I think it's my favorite restaurant in Fall River. The Porto restaurants in Fall River mostly have the same dishes, so it's the subtleties of the experience that stand out between the establishments. The Clipper is as authentic as it gets.“
“Amazing food selections. The butternut risotto is absolutely mouth-watering. ? Great service as well. Can't beat the harbor views, and the spacious nature of the layout. Almost feels like you're on an actual boat deck, lol. This was my second time there, definitely headed back in the Summer.“
“Shared time with family on St Patrick's Day lunch for corned beef & cabbage. Great portion size but rather bland for my preference. Waitress served our meals & drinks then disappeared!. We then waited a l I ng time for her to resurface to request our bill.Restaurant has a good reputation, will try again in the future. Beautiful view of the riverWheelchair accessibility: Looks to be wheelchair accessible but did not see restrooms.“
“Came here to celebrate a friends birthday! Tried to mussels, the calamari, the tuna roll, salmon burger, cucumber lemon drink (and pear drink).. and then the ice cream cookie dessert. Wow!! Just wow!! Lighting was incredible and was there for the sunset!! Place was popping with activity and service was highly attentive!“
“This food is probably the most authentic Chinese Food in the city. Not only was it clean when I walked in the very kind cook was very nice. He cooked the food right in front of me. And very relaxing Chinese culture music was playing in the back while I waited. :) The lady who answered the phone was also very kind. It's very rare to find authentic kindness and good food all in one spot. Definitely the gem of Fall River. You won't be disappointed ?. Support small business like this! Oh and worth the money if you want amazing tasting food!“
“We went with some friends to sample some traditional Portuguese for lunch. The bar was hopping and the dining room had 5-6 tables occupied. We sat and were greeted by a very pleasant server- Isabelle? The tables were a little sticky. We enoyed the cod croquettes and the queijo fresco with gorgeous fresh bread to start with. The cheese was so light and creamy - it was a nice mix with the red pepper sauce. My friends got the Portuguese soup which was good- not fabulous. The broth tasted a little under seasoned and maybe watery. The fish soup was almost entirely blended- I think we expected it to be chunkier, also mediocre in flavor. We then shared a plate of fried smelts which I had never had and the Bacalhau a Braz. My friend said the smelt were sort of dried out- not much fish meat to enjoy. My Bacalhau a Braz was delicious- a nice blend of flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed it and we left completely full. One suggestion to the restaurant- that many restaurants do- please be mindful of spraying the table cleaner in a nearby table when your guests are eating. Overall- it was a great experience.“
“Always a good feed and experience at the 99. This location is no exception to the rule. Conveniently located with plenty of off-street parking and good security lighting at night. Was a little quieter than I expected today on St. Patrick's day, but I'm sure the party was just getting started that early in the day.Vegetarian options: LimitedParking: Lots and lots. “So many Portuguese restaurants in Fall River... it's hard to know where to go! Well, T A Restaurant is a pretty solid option. Compared to some of the other spots I've been to in town, the ambiance was on the nicer/more modern side. They've got plenty of choices in terms of Meat & Poultry and Seafood. Our waitress was really nice and helped me decide on a dairy-free dish. My friend and I both opted for seafood. I got the Bacalhua a Casa (shredded codfish) and my friend got the Bacalhua Assado (salted cod). To be honest, I found my fish to be a bit overcooked, but I'm not sure if that's just because the fish was shredded. I tried a bite of the salted cod and the cook on that was perfect. The plating is also really nice, so I'd recommend for anyone looking for a bit of a more upscale dining experience.“
