My daughters and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here on December 30, 2023. I did my study abroad in Firenze in 1985 and my oldest daughter had an internship in Roma in 2023. We found the food here to be as tasty and authentic as any Italian restaurant in the USA. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Both my daughters are vegetarian. One ordered the Pomodoro and the other ordered the Tortelloni with butter and sage sauce. Both were very pleased.
Wonderful place and atmosphere. They make their own pasta in-house! Yay. I definitely only love to eat homemade fresh pasta, if feels better in my system and this place was delish. Their pesto was yummy as well. Oh and the olives they have are my favorite olives (just a funny coincidence). The only thing was that I thought the bread and olive oil was on the cheap side. Osteria La Civetta is one of our favorite restaurants! It's a cozy, intimate and romantic atmosphere, which we love. The lights are dim and the decor is unique. The tables aren't too close together so we felt like we could have a private conversation. They have a nice selection of Italian wines. I selected the Primitivo, which was pretty good.
