Barb's Riverside Cafe

Went there with my extended family around 10am on Saturday. Eggs Irish was great, hubby had eggs and sausage and homefries , all fresh, cooked to order and not a complaint from anyone! This is a local favorite breakfast spot. Customers “ from away” who complain about how locals talk or that wait staff spend more time with the locals, sound to me like jealousy that they don’t come there often enough!

Love barbs! Homemade soups have my heart here. Chicken corn chowder with bacon, chicken and vegetable, turkey and rice... all delicious. Marlene, Corinne, gabby, and Courtney are great with customer service and always do a great job. Literally the ONLY thing I personally believe the cafe could improve is the size of their home fries, they're cut super big and sometimes difficult to eat. Other times they're over done and become mash. Oh can't forget the stuffed pepper soup!! Amazing.

Wanted to try local fare instead of staying on site at Great Wolf Lodge and this was a wonderful hit! Food was home made, reasonable, very friendly service! Would go again if we’re everout that way! Located in an older building, very unassuming and interior decor probably could use some updating, but it just added to the vibe of the place. Worth giving a try!
