Went in for $5 burger and fries night. Getting takeout was definitely a plus. Inexpensive meal, definitely a plus.. but ordered both burgers med rare and both came out well- done?! This place makes a lot of burgers for burgers night Wednesdays and they don't know how to cook med-rare??? Maybe ask for rare and it'll be just right
Pub food here, we always got the fish and chips. Helps that the joint is open and local. The freshness shines through in our order (fish and chips and buffalo tenders) fresh fish and huge steak fries. Buffalo tenders were not overly sauced ( a good thing) and have a freshness to them. We do not go outside the menu, of our favorite (fish and chips) usually, used to have cole slaw with the fish and chips it was missing. The prices are good. I ate here with my family approximately six years ago. I enjoyed the cheeseburger and french fries combination, complete with a sweet, refreshing, soda fountain drink. However, my burger contained an enormous slice of red onion. This was rather unappetizing, and discouraged me from finishing my otherwise wonderful meal.
