“Fabulous ice cream! Delicious baked goods. Reasonably priced. Staff is always friendly if not always exuberant. Great stop if you're in the area, worth the trip if you're not.”
“Great food and service... but never freakin open in the morning... been trying to stop there on different days in the past week and not open... like right now its tuesday 6am and they are not open....”
“Our first visit. Fish and chips and a patty melt. But first, buffalo chicken tenders for an appetizer. Fresh. Not burnt or dry. The blue cheese came in a container, would have preferred a user friendly way to get it open, but that's ok. Extensive menu made for tough decisions. But there's always next time, right? Our waitress was very diligent in getting more napkins, water. Dinner came soon after, so close to perfection! Took home my other half of my patty melt. The decor has a theme of a post office so, made sense naming the restaurant. We will return to try the other offerings on the menu.”
“Great, small-town ice cream shop. The ice cream is good and they carry my favorite flavor - banana. Service is what you'd expect at local ice cream spot. There isn't much sitting spaces. There's one table-bench, but that's it. Cash only!”
“Quiet Place. So much good food!! The crab rangoons were light and delicious. The Sesame Chicken with Broccoli was also light. Very generous portions. 10/10 would ”
“Tucked away in Grafton, MA, the Town House Tavern might surprise you—not with a vast menu of entrees, but with its unique charm, extensive selection of drinks, and light, simple fare that complements an evening out. This isn’t your typical tavern with a full kitchen; instead, it specializes in creating a welcoming, convivial atmosphere where the focus is on enjoying good drinks and good company.Upon entering, you’re greeted with a cozy ambiance that combines rustic touches with a comfortable, laid-back vibe. It’s the perfect backdrop for unwinding after a long day, catching up with friends, or enjoying a casual date night. The staff here are known for their friendly and engaging service, making you feel like a regular from your very first visit. What the Town House Tavern lacks in a full kitchen, it makes up for with an impressive selection of wines, spirits, mainstream beers, and microbrews. Whether you’re a wine aficionado, a craft beer enthusiast, or someone who appreciates a well-made cocktail, you’ll find something here to suit your taste. Complementing the drink selection are simple yet satisfying snacks like popcorn and pretzels, ensuring you have just the right amount of nibbles to accompany your beverage of choice. While you shouldn’t come expecting a full meal, the charm of the Town House Tavern lies in its simplicity and focus on quality drinks and a warm, welcoming environment. It’s a place where conversations flow as freely as the drinks, and the lack of a full kitchen is hardly noticed amid the laughter and stories shared across the bar.For those looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy a drink in Grafton, the Town House Tavern is a delightful choice. Its focus on creating a friendly, inviting space where guests can enjoy a simple night out is what sets it apart. A visit here is a reminder that sometimes, all you need for a good time is a great drink and great company.”
“I think it's time for a more current review here. While standing in the restaurant waiting for my order (which I placed as a walk-in), I took a quick peek at the reviews only to be suprised at all the negativity. Lots of one and two star reviews! Sure, it isn't the most fancy joint in the world - I get that. But what it delivers is a solid, decent product that one could order anytime with confidence. Mind you, I primarily order pizza from Grafton House which I typically order ahead and pickup myself - with maybe an appetizer or so to round out the order. Pizza is always made well, looks good, and tastes how a greek-style pan cooked pizza should. We've also ordered subs/griders in the past. Never a bad sandwich - made well and with decent overall quality. No complaints here. For what it is, I'd give Grafton (House of) Pizza 4 stars based on the pizza alone. Is there better out there? Of course, but only if you want to travel for it. Overall though, Grafton Pizza is great for casual takeout and definitely a dependable local spot.”
“The hunan chicken and fried rice were outstanding. And we ordered crab rangoon and they were probably the best we ever had. So sorry we were just passing through Grafton or this would be our go to place!!!”
“Love Stephanie's! I moved here in the summer and quickly felt welcomed in this coffee shop. The employees are kind, incredibly helpful, and always so thoughtful about my nut allergy. Of course, the coffee and food are great too!Dietary restrictions: Always accommodating to a nut allergy”
“I got take out through relish. Had the chicken Caesar salad and it was phenomenal. Thank you to whoever who loaded me up with the chicken!! You’re the man! (Or woman)”
“stopped for a quick bite, after shopping at Ollies. the place was clean and the lady there was super nice.great place for a quick bite to eat if your in the area.”
“When you order in the store, it'll be 100%, but using the app it'll be 80-90% which is disappointing. When the place was original it was one building, then later down the line it became a main building and a sub-building. Unfortunately thanks to that the main building makes mistakes. Though the people are nice the orders end up being wrong every once in a while.”
“Our local Indian restaurant in Worcester was unexpectedly closed tonight so we decided to try Peppers Indian Cuisine. We were blown away by the incredible food, huge menu selection and really fast service.Definitely my favorite restaurant, we will be back regularly now. Highly recommend”
“If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, Saffron is a must-visit restaurant! I highly recommend it for its delectable food that looks, smells, and tastes amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to find Baby Corn Manchuria at Saffron - a dish that I had never come across in the United States before. The taste was truly divine. And the Dragon Gobi! It's one of the most delightful dishes I have ever savored, from its taste to its texture. Saffron's menu offers a range of unique and simple dishes, and I can't wait to try them all! Trust me, Saffron is where you'll find the perfect blend of authentic flavors and culinary excellence.”
“The server we had last night was the biggest jerk and should be fired. We left after being clearly discriminated by your staff. We’ve been coming here for years but will never be back after yesterday’s experience. Ricardo was a complete jerk and should not be in the restaurant business.”
“Last night before the Judds concert, we were looking for a place to have dinner. Most places right around the venue were at least an hour wait. We ended up a couple blocks from away at a place called deadhorse hill . It was a small place, not a huge menu but a decent selection of options. The greeter was prompt and polite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and funny with a quick wit. While we waited for our meal, I observed the bartender expertly measuring, stirring and shaking drinks while engaged in friendly chatting with other staff and people at the bar. Our food was great. We each got burgers and fries and they were delicious. When the bill came, there was a 20% tip already factored in. I've seen this done for large parties before but it was just three of us. Apparently it was stated on the menu, I hadn't seen it. I'm paraphrasing here because I don't recall the exact wording but basically they said the reason they do it is so that all staff is paid equally and they earn enough to make a livable wage. I thought that was pretty cool and then it dawned on me, our waitress was truly one of the best I've ever had. In truth, she didnt have to be. Technically, she was already getting her 20% guaranteed. She didnt have to put in any extra effort. The same goes for the rest of the staff. To me, this made it all the more impressive. The backs of the shirts they all wore said, "Don't be a Pickle kicker". Couldn't figure out what that meant so we asked our waitress. She told us that some time ago back they first opened, a young man worked there and when it got busy and he was building the sandwiches and a pickle fell to the floor, he would just kick it under the fridge. When other staff would clean they would find piles of pickles under there. So its a message to everyone on staff to think of each other, take pride in their work and don't be lazy. I thought that was pretty amazing. All in all, if you ever find yourself in Worcester, MA for a concert or event at the DCU Center, go early and have dinner at Deadhorse Hill. Well worth it and a wonderful experience.”
“I got to try Sabrosa today. The owner was so kind and the food was delicious. The garlic sauce was perfection. The business is also able to cater to gluten free guests and even attended GFree fest as a vendor. Delicious!”
“Modern tacos, good sauces and seasoning. A bit overrated and light on protein for the price but not much competition in the area so I’ll probably be back. Wish the menu had some more items like burritos/chimichangas/”
“Incredible food and amazing service, they hosted us for a book club and everything was perfect. Best ham and cheese crepe and the most wonderful cream puffs, perfect service.”
“Attended bridal shower and it was perfect from beginning to end. Everyone complemented the food, service was excellent and all flowed so smoothly. Will be back to try out the restaurant!”
“What a great find in Worcester. We arrived with no reservations on a Sunday night. The place was packed, however the staff found a place for us and gave us a wonderful meal. We will definitely be back.”
“I love this place HIGHLY RECOMMEND ? their meat lovers sandwich is hands off the best in town. Great staff and it’s Family friendly place to hang out.Kid-friendliness: Always come here with my daughter they have games and comfy couch”
“The food at Fatima's is absolutely delicious and very fresh. The owner is an amazing human being who is incredibly kind. My daughter loves a cake she makes, and Fatima was out of it on the day we were visiting the restaurant. I told the owner we would be back for cake on our next visit, when my daughter was home from college. The owner told me that there was no way my daughter was headed back to school without having her favorite cake. She made a special batch that morning, when she was not even open, in order for my daughter to enjoy it before she left. Both my daughter and I were in tears, we could not believe her incredible kindness. I hope this place succeeds greatly and is around for years to come! Fantastic service, incredible food, and kindness are a winning combination!”
“Vivacity Nutrition is amazing and more than just a place to drink a smoothie! The variety and customization is next level and Maddie has created a safe space for people to connect, relax and be themselves. Anytime I walk in there Maddie greets me with love and authenticity no matter what she has going on in her life. Her staff are friendly, have good customer service and make a great drink! I look forward to stopping in for so many reasons. Best place to get drinks in town hands down!”
“This place is amazing. Central Mass does not have a lot of vegan comfort food spots so I was happy when this place opened. I’ve been vegan for 16 years and the “chickun” sandwich and (juicy af) breakfast sandwich may be the best I’ve had anywhere.”
“Been in Worcester 5 years and I dont know how ive never heard of this place even though I've been next door at the pizza place when I was new to the city.I just played it safe with the italiano, but it was exceptional. This is the archetype of an italian sub. If I had a friend that had never heard of an italian sub before, I'd take them here.11 dollars but its pretty damn big and has a lot of meat. Bread is fresh and makes the sandwich.”
“I got the best gelato and frozen yogurt with even better customer service. Definitely coming back!?Parking: There were no problems with parking. Many spots right in front of the door”
“We ordered from here for the first time on Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint! The food was pretty good. I was intrigued in the honey mustard bacon cheese fries so I ordered them and they were surprisingly very good! I would definitely order them again! They had a nice little kick to it because of the honey mustard! I loved them! My bf got the teriyaki sirloin tips with rice pilaf. He said it was good. I got the chicken & rice soup but I saved it for the next day and it was a typical soup. Nothing spectacular about it. I also forgot to take a photo of it because it was the next day. My meal was the chicken and broccoli alfredo pasta without the broccoli and I opted to get linguine pasta. It was very good and filling. I'd say my only complaint was the amount of oil that was in it. I had to take some napkins to it and put it in a bowl and there was still a lot of oil! All in all, I would definitely go again. I'd probably order something other than the pasta. Though it was very good I thought it was way too oily for my liking.”
“Made my first trip to Root and Press yesterday and I will be back. What a great place! Ordered the Purple Cow and it was very refreshing. The Chipotle Chicken Avocado Sandwich and Aloha Chicken Panini were delicious. Staff was knowledgeable and very accommodating to food sensitivities.”
“Excellent fresh bread! Garlic cheddar sourdough awesome for toast or sandwiches. Focaccia also delicious. Great stuffed bread pinwheels as well, will keep those in mind when on the go in the morning. Will definitely be back.”
