“I really love coming to meadowbrook but their new steep pricing makes it out of my regular budget. $24 for country fried chicken, fries and slaw (as a special)? I understand food prices have gone up but they’re pricing out their regulars. I would come at least once a week but, for a family, it’s too much for that. Maybe if there was a reason, any entertainment, it would be a reason to bring the family. I feel like this spot could thrive with the right prices and events to bring the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s crowd in. I also think the function hall area is severely underused. Bingo, DJ, Trvia night, live bands—- bring us in! Or maybe they prefer to serve the older crowd and keep it quiet, that’s ok too- just doesn’t make me wanna pack up the kids to go and spend all that money.”

“Saw the olde hitching post on TV about ten years ago, wanted to give them a try... I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was AMAZING, the service was just as good, the waitress was polite, funny, and attentive. The only thing I would change, would be the location, I wish it was closer to my house lol, unfortunately I live in southern Connecticut and don't get up to Massachusetts very often, but the olde hitching post is now a guaranteed stop every time I get up to mass...”

“Venus III is in my top SSBP spots. I don’t know, I’ve never had a bad pizza. They are always consistent and have great flavor. The cattleman’s chicken pizza and buffalo chicken pizza are my top 2. O definitely think they are comparable or maybe even a little better than the OG Venus. Also, loaded tots.”

“We dined here on October 21st as part of a group of about 22. The service and the food were top notch. Everyone had a huge variety of dinners and desserts and not one complaint from anyone. We were very impressed and will definitely be back. We had the Mediterranean Salmon and the whole belly fried clams. The tiramisu we shared was yummy!”

“Dunkin Donuts is a good place to get donuts, and breakfast food, but does come with a cost. The coffee is good, but also pricy. There is a drive though at this location, in the morning, it gets really busy, but though out the day it gets less busy. Overall, this is a pretty good place to eat or get a nice cup of coffee. “The kid with the glasses and sideburns was awesome. Kind, Courteous, and obviously passionate about what he does. When I pulled up to the drive through window, I saw one of the other employees struggling in the kitchen, and he promtly went over to help. When he brought me my food at the parking space reserved for drive through, he met me with a polite greeting, and he even covered my bag so my fries would stay dry! I felt bad that he had to walk out in the pouring rain, but he seemed unphased, and kept a cheerful demeanor. I wanted to give him a tip, but I had no cash on me. I don't often go to the Hanson McDonalds, but will be returning soon due to my great experience with this young man. To management, if he is not yet a shift lead or the Mcdonalds equivalent, I suggest you make him one immediately. Thanks Again!”

“I was at Thayer Academy with a sports team. Someone told me about this place. From where my bus was parked. It was a half mile walk. Let me tell you well worth the walk.
