Peddler’s Daughter is a gem of a restaurant in downtown Haverhill. Authentic Irish Pub food with a friendly, warm atmosphere and the best Fish n’ Chips, homemade tarter sauce and ketchup, and potato-leek soup! Not to be missed on a visit to the Merrimack Valley. (3 blocks from the Commuter Rail Station and Municipal Parking Deck.)
This place has the best food north of Boston I've had in recent memory. Got six tapas - arancini, beef carpaccio, gambas, topped crostini, tuna poke, and and pork belly skewers. Everything was excellent! It's hard to find pork belly done right but it was perfect - crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Everything was so delicious. Excellent service as well!

We walked in and I saw a jar of marshmallows at the bar under the Guinness tap. I asked Bobby Bow Tie if I could have a toasted marshmallow on top of a Guinness. He said, "heck yes!" It was weirdly delicious. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great spot inn Haverhill.
