“Really decent delivery Chinese food. I get a lot of appetisers and specials and the food is always fresh, hot, and yummy. Love that I can get my pork fried rice without veggies in it, and there's always plenty of of it. They don't skimp on anything portion sizes are more than enough.Dietary restrictions: I have a severe shellfish allergy and I have never had a problem from cross contamination of food. I have experienced that at other Chinese restaurants.“
“I don't have anything negative to say. Impeccable service, perfectly cooked, amazingly seasoned food, nice relaxing ambiance and even one of the best dj's I've had the pleasure of hearing. I've heard people discuss the price but it is worth every penny and you get what you pay for. We tried a bunch of shareables and desserts and in my opinion it's the best way to go. My best bites were crispy lobster roll and sea bass satay. The mandarin dessert looked so much like a mandarin that I tried to open with my fingers thinking they stuffed an actual mandarin w mousse. I cannot wait to go back.“
“My favorite sushi restaurant in western mass. Helen and her husband the owners, are very nice they remember you and make you feel very welcome. The food and drinks are ALWAYS consistently fantastic. Fresh fish and generous portions! Their sashimi pieces are double the size of other places I’ve been to & spicy tuna roll has tempura inside which also sets them apart. The house rice and Mai Thai are favorites of ours too. This place hits the spot every time. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. A must try!!!“
“The food was absolutely amazing! I am so happy to have a restaurant like this in the area , the prices are great . My server Carrisa was absolutely delightful, sweet, and so helpful. I haven’t experienced such a good service in a long time . Any questions I had in regard to the menu were answered and she gave great suggestions about the specials !“
“Haya Sushi is an incredible place I would recommend to anyone in the Springfield area. I went to Haya on thursday afternoon, the restaurant was pretty empty (only two other groups there), so we were seated immediately. The resteraunt felt a little awkward - obviously the location is weird being between a family dollar and a smoke shop, but the place didn't feel totally welcoming. Our server did not really explain to us how the all you can eat system worked, which would've been nice. But once we put our order in, the experience was awesome. The food came fast, the presentation was excellent, and it was delicious. Maybe not the best sushi i've ever had, but definitely up there. And all for a 20$ lunch price tag - incredible! Definitely will be coming back. I wish the restaurant was closer“
“My husband and I have been going there for years and they have always been consistent in their service, food preparation and presentation.Everything we’ve tried has been fresh and great tasting and the presentation always excellent.Kuddos to them for their continued labors ensuring excellent quality of food and service. Here a photo of my favorite starter: The avocado salad.“
“Great food at a great price. We had Singapore chicken and hibachi chicken and shrimp, and all were delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even threw in a free sushi roll since it was my dad's birthday. They definitely don't skimp on portion sizes, so count on having leftovers.“
“I had an outstanding dining experience at this gem of a restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a cozy evening. The staff (including the owner of the restaurant) greeted me with genuine smiles and were attentive throughout the meal. The hot & spicy ramen was perfectly seasoned to perfection. The chefs clearly know what they’re doing! The highlight for me was the melt-in-your-mouth spicy pork, cooked perfectly.Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring your family.“
“Fantastic spot. The food is incredible, and the service and atmosphere are awesome as well. The owner John is hands on making food and taking care of guests. You can tell he has a lot of pride in his business and it shows. Best Sushi around, and the salmon nachos are the best app I’ve ever “
“I regret not taking pictures of this deliciousness. The Pupu platter can feed like 3 or 4 people. The veggie Mei Fun and the Hibachi rice with Jumbo Shrimps to die for. The wonton soup was super good too. Definitely my new favorite Asian restaurant.“
“Solid sit down place for asian fusion. I went when it was slow but the food, appetizers, and meal came out in a perfect time. The ramen is okay. The gyoza is okay. The scallion pancakes were perfect. I didn't try my partner's pho but she said it was alright as well. Our server was awesome, and was super nice. When I asked for kimchi she specifically asked if it's okay since kimchi typically has fish sauce in it. I don't know her name but she was great. The melted popsicle was alright. A tiny bit too sweet. But, with the name maybe I should expect that. I'd go again.Vegetarian options: Depending on the host you get you may or may not be told the kimchi has fish sauce in it if you didn't already know it does. Other than that they're awesome with options.“
“A tiny Japanese restaurant, large on serving the freshest ingredients. Each dish is plated to please the eye and satisfy the palette. Upon walking in, you are made to feel welcomed by a sushi chef with a joyous generous heart. Well worth returning to often!“
“This may be saying a lot, but it's becoming one of the BEST hidden gems in Western MA. The food is absolutely delicious. The owner is on site and very much involved. Pride of ownership and commitment to food quality is evident. Highly recommend you give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.“
“Typical hibachi, amazing sushi. The special rolls are inventive and executed well. The actual hibachi routine seems very rehearsed and while there isn't a TON that can be done to spice that kind of thing up, it seemed like the motions were had and that was it.Scorpion bowl was a little underwhelming and tasted like bottom shelf liquor and sugary syrups instead of fruit and alcohol.“
“I ordered the spicy seafood mazemen and mercy roll. Both were delicious. I also had a Kamikaze for a cocktail and it was so good. I have been to Barkaya many times and it never disappoints. Great food, drinks and service. The ambiance is great and they have a big flat screen for sports. I recommend visiting them on a Monday for $10 ramen but just a heads up sushi isn’t served on Mondays.“
“There are big hibachi tables all over. We sat in a mostly quiet and private booth. There were a lot of birthdays it seemed, and some of the time the hibachi chefs were banging for an extended time. The food and the drink were very good. I would come back.“
