Fresh fried plantain, good beef teriaki and crab ragoon. The food didn't feel heavy, nor oily. You can tell they change the frying oil frequently. The female phone receptionist was nice and helpful with the directions. I took it to go. As for the atmosphere, the door is a lil heavy to open. No super decorations , not the kind of place you'd go on a first date. Decor is like your average fast-food style eatery. However, tables are clean and staff is welcoming. I have gotten sick from eating Chinese food in various spots but I've never been sick from this place and they've been around for 20+ years.
Stopped in to grab a quick luncheon special with co workers and the food is garbage, don't waste your hard earned money here do to the following: this place is dirty, there's really no place to sit & eat and the food was tasteless and the chicken fingers were hard as a rock. We both through are plates away in the trash. There are better quality places to grab food in the Lawrence area. Stay away & don't waste your hard earned $$$ peeps.

Although the customer service was good, the food was absolutely terrible. It had no flavor whatsoever. I wish I could get my money back. Can't believe I wasted $60 on 3 plates.

Last order the crab Rangoon was over cooked, the egg rolls seemed to be cooked in old oil
I was in a hurry and decided to go to Pekin garden because it was on my way to my destination,I ordered a wonton soup and it was horrible.I guess if you like low scale restaurants that's the place to go.I had one spoon full and threw it out.Never again

Good food. But they need to get new and updated menus cause the one they give you and the one online are all wrong cause the prices went up alot. And they never have any extra menus

If I can give 0 stars I would…I call to order food and they ask to wait and after waiting for few minutes the person took my call back and hung up on me because I was not ordering fast enough and I call back asking why they hung up on me and they hung up on me again….that is sooo rude….I never will call that place again even if I’m dying of hunger.
