“Let me start by saying we first checked out Gateway Tavern. It was the most unpleasant bar I have been in over the past 8years. The bartenders and the owners bedside manner are is awful. We left and went to Hayes Tavern, recommended by some friends. It was fantastic smiles, food and fun banter. Bartenders were on point and friendly they made the experience fun. By far better than Gateway Tavern.“

“We had a group of 10 celebrating a birthday last weekend and Wicked Axe came through with a great time for our group. Big thanks to our Axe Coach, Dan, who did a great job of keeping us safe while having fun. The only major problem was that I didn't win, so that definitely needs to be fixed.“
“This was our last resort for food as it was approaching 11 o’clock. We tried a few other places and they all closed their kitchen early. When we walked in, I wasn’t too sure of the place. It has a dive bar Vibe, which I’m totally cool with, but wasn’t sure how my wife and Mom were feeling about it. We ordered chicken fingers, Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls, French fries and a burger. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend! Staff was helpful, the owner was cooking and he was great to talk to.“
“No glitz and glam, simple place, good food. Plenty of parking, inside and outside is a little outdated. But the food did not disappoint, the steak was cooked to my liking and flavorful. Also got a burger (not pictured) but it was HUGE and nice and juicy. Plenty of TVs, pool table, keno and scratch ticket machines! It was my first time there and everyone seemed like regulars, so customers and servers were super friendly. Very chill vibe and great place to grab a drink after work.“
“We arrived about 2pm on a weekday, as we missed any lunch rush and were meet by a server who opened the door and greeted us and we where seated promptly. The space is open and colorful. The indoor landscape was spotted with small aquariums that appeared greenish and needy cleaning, but other than that the dining area was clean and inviting. (My lovely dining partner explained it was the "Not Average Joes" room and fixtures with bamboo and the little aquariums added- plus a set of triple Buddhas and a colorful Asian themed mural - so they tried.) Our server appeared unable to answer a question I had about the Pho noodles and what came with them, but quickly found someone to help. In a reasonable amount of time my question was answered that the Pho dishes came with the traditional Thai Basil and Lime, but they didn't have a any bean sprouts. It was finally clarified that bean sprouts come with but they were out. (It may be time for a manager to run to Market Basket). But, if that's the worst thing I won't hold it against them and try again. Pho wasn't bad. It was "Your Average Pho'"“

“I need to say this! We attended a family event at Rj's on Sunday. This was my first time visiting this place. The service was top notch!I don't know how the two bartenders kept up with all of us. The tables were kept spotless not and empty glass or plate was left unattended.The food was quick and never cold.Thank you Rj, Kara, Jill, and Ed! You made the event great!“

“Yum!Such a refined touch on pub food, with many veggie options. The hand cut fries were a dream. We ordered some creative cocktails and they were just as described, well balanced and not too sweet. Everyone from the host to our server were very hospitable and kind. Can’t wait to try some other things on the menu!“
“If this is my last day on earth, I will have spent some of it in the company of the exquisite Jess and dining on a special rib eye, Oscar-style, with real Parmesan and garlic fries and broccoli. The food was prepared perfectly and presented superbly. Rae Rock’s knows what it is doing. Large, varied menu, lively atmosphere and a staff of real pros. Many TVs tuned to sports, TouchTunes jukebox.“
“Went for New Years Eve Karaoke was awesome! Had a blast! To bring in 2024 Spaceman was the highlight but whoever cooked or made the food was out of this world hands down best low key place in Haverhell! And the Bartender makes the best Alabama Slammers! PS i want that poster lol “
“A beautiful location if you have a large group. Our waitress was awesome and very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.It's a country club in a ritzy area, so the prices are a little higher but not awful if you'refrugal. There's an online menu so definitely check that out.“
“Better than you would expect from the location. The back patio is a nice scene for a sunny afternoon or nice night to be outside. They have keno which is a plus if you like that. Downside/upside depending on what you are looking for is it is a very local scene and people can be chatty (everyone has their own opinion on that). Daytime until 7 vibe is older crowd... the nighttime is very much a younger crowd.“
