“What a treat! They have an incredible vegan menu and everything we got was incredible! The scratch made marinara was delicious. The grilled artichokes were perfect and the vegan tiramisu was to die for. We will definitely be back! Service was top notch and the atmosphere was great!”
“Great food and service! We arrived for $10 pizza night which was a fantastic value. The wood fired pizza was very tasty. We ordered the southwestern chicken, mushroom and the Allium. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although they had no room for us, they set up a table for us outside since it was a nice night. It was the first night they had outdoor seating of the season. It was also our son's first restaurant experience!”
“Run, don’t walk to Cello! Truly a gem in the dining scene of The Berkshires! Small, intimate and cozy with food that is so fresh and innovative! Amanda, Cody and the two incredible chefs have worked together as a team for quite some time and it shows through the energy, vibe and level of service at the restaurant. The menu changes nightly and it truly highlights the talents of the two chefs! To better sample the menu I had 3 starters as my meal, the kale caesar, the big eye tuna tartar and the clam croquettes. A perfect trifecta! Thank you guys for such a special evening!!”
“I had lunch yesterday at Zinc, and it was delightful. The staff is very welcoming, which often is missing in today's world. The Pinot Grigio was super crisp, the best I've had in some time. I had a grilled gruyere sandwich with duck confit and caramelized onions. It was absolutely delicious--I'm heating up the second half for my lunch today because it was amply sized for two meals. They usually serve it with mixed greens, but I asked for bib lettuce instead, and they served me very fresh bib with a light, tasty dressing. I truly enjoyed every bite and sip of this meal. My companion had a burger, which he said was the best he's had in years--thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere at Zinc is classy but not overly so, with lots of light and a choice of dining rooms. We drove an hour to get here, and it was worth every mile. Try it!!”
“AMAZING! I love a tapas restaurant, try a bunch to share is wonderful, and good wine helps! Don't call me crazy but GET THE SWISS CHARD! The boom boom shrimp was so good! The sauce on the patatas bravas is good but spicy beware. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! The special pizza had pork, onions, pineapple I forget the cheese but this is also a MUST, I know pineapple on pizza is a NO NO but this was AMAZING! For dessert we had bread pudding and passion fruit gelato also very good! Highly recommend this restaurant!”
“Food, service, and ambience was spectacular! We were able to sit outside in front of a table fire while we waited for our reservation. We were served cocktails, some nuts, and olives.”
“The Calamari is so good! The Millionaire tots were wonderful too. I wish they had more wing flavor choices, but the buffalo was delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and a little crowded on ”
“The atmosphere was electric! The live jazz music transported every single guest to another era.The dining room was filled with happy diners, couples dancing, and smiling staff. The food was fantastic. The winter salad and a fish trio were lovely, the perfect texture and temperature. The Firefly offered a magical dining experience. Date night was a great night!”
“Nice foods and drinks. Beers are amazing. Bartender is so nice to give us samples for brewing beers. Lovely people. Definitely gonna come back. Perfect place for casual and fun.”
“When it comes to road trips, I am all about Subway pitstops. This location really impressed me: the customer service was friendly, warm, and competent. What impressed me most was the fact that the stellar customer service was delivered by two local teenage boys. They are doing something right at this Subway location. Keep it up!”
“Absolutely fantastic! On A Roll was a gamble for us, as we were visiting the area for an overnight after seeing local show. We're pretty picky about our breakfast sammiches, so we were on the hunt for some of the local strong contenders. On A Roll had a welcoming feel after finding a spot in the ample parking lot, luring us in with Brunch Jazz playing from a carefully placed speaker hidden outside the restaurant. The vibe inside was calm and quiet, just what you need at 11AM on a Sunday morning. We got a table right away, and had a short wait to get served coffee and water. The coffee is on point, not the usual diner pour with tannins that slap your tonsils, but instead a warming miasma of no-nonsense arabica delight. The food: cannot give the place enough props for doing the basics right, including making their own bread in-house, and even more tantalizaing, their own handmade sausage. I make my own bread and sausage for my wife in our own house, so it was nice to meet another chef who gets it. French Toast was comprised of thick multigrain slices with real local maple syrup, while the pancakes had real strawberries and granola in them in perfect ratios. Food overall was quick, yet very high quality, and really made us feel home away from home. The sausage itself was the highlight of the show (for me), and had strong notes of brown sugar, fresh sage, and crushed rosemary along with plenty of salt, all in a generous patty that seems grilled with a weight on top so it doesn't curl on you. Perfectly cooked, 10/10, once you try it you'll never go back.See you in the summer!”
“Great food and the cafe itself is quite nice. I gave 4 stars for service due to it seemed like the wait staff didn't really care for take out orders and seemed to rather care more about talking amongst themselves then making sure we where taken care of and had a slight attitude while taking the ”
“This restaurant is amazing! The food is glorious - every bite is flavorful - whether you are dipping into a side dot of a "gelee" or eating your carrots. Every morsel is prepared so beautifully - even if you previously weren't a fan of a particular flavor or ingredient, this chef makes it sing. The menu is carefully put together to feature local ingredients and the Fruita and vegetables are meticulously chosen for the perfect ripeness. Every person in my party has very different preferences in their food and all of us were delighted with our choices. While the food is wonderful, what makes this restaurant a "must visit" on your list is the team- I have chosen this restaurant 3 times for recent special occasions and have gotten to see everyone work in concert with one another so that our service was flawless- at no time did we ever have an empty glass or wonder about an ingredient without having someone seamlessly pop by to ask - and they always knew the answer. I would specifically call out Jenny and Jamaica. They remembered us on a repeat visit and both genuinely welcomed us back making us feel very special. The restaurant, while elegant and beautifully furnished also gives the vibe of feeling warm and cozy - as you can tell, this restaurant is tops of my list. Every step of the visit was outstanding- what a difference to the visits of the past.”

“As a vegetarian I was more than impressed by the plant based options both appetizers and main. All the food had deep complex flavors which were delicious. The hummus plate and roasted parsnips appetizers were incredible. I had the lentil tofu main and really enjoyed it, full of different textures and very satisfying. It's hard to find a restraunt that truly embraces plant based while also keeping meat eaters happy. My partner had the beef tenderloin and was equally impressed. Restraunt had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It is small so if you prefer a table over the bar a reservation would be recommended. Bar service for us was a pleasant experience with very attentive service.”
