“Such a great spot in Malden center! There's not many things in the area but this bar looks unassuming when walking by but the inside truly transports you to a different realm. Came here once in the fall and they had fall decor but it seems like the flowers are here to stay for the spring. The drink menu has a good variety of cocktails and beers. The staff are also super friendly and feels like they enjoy the space too. I'm looking forward to coming here more often!“
“A classic spot in the area. It is absolutely huge with two bars large seating areas and a takeout spot by the host stand. The bar can get crowded but I've never seen more than 3 groups seated beyond the bar high tops in the dining room so you can certainly always get a table. Beers and drinks in general are great! Pretty big menu, I've personally not enjoyed any of the food I've gotten as it all feels bland and kind of nursing-home-taste-bud cooked EXCEPT FOR the mozzeralla sticks. I could eat twenty plates of those.“
“Anthony’s was amazing to work with and made our Funeral meal wonderful. They were so accommodating and kind for special dietary restrictions and all of the food was delicious. Can’t recommend enough. This was a tough time for us (obviously) but not having to worry about meal planning and enough space for my very large family made our day a little easier.“
“Tuna ceviche was HUGE for the price. So much flavor! The seared tuna tacos were fantastic. I couldn't finish them because I was so full and I was so depressed about it. I don't live in the area but my best friend does. I can't imagine getting a meal with her anywhere else now.“
“We just had a wonderful delicious dinner at Evviva in Malden. Everything was outstanding. Chicken parm, eggplant parm, salads and wine. Can’t wait to go back and try the pizza. Ava at the bar was outstanding. If you’re in the mood for Italian give them a try.“
“This is the kind of place you feel great when you walk through the door. Not fancy outside, but walk in and the place was hopping. Great food at reasonable prices and you won't leave hungry. My wife had the Fried Haddock Sandwich which has a great crispy breading and is perfectly fried (and huge). I had the French Onion Soup to start and the Marinated Steak Tips with rice. Both were great and the tips were cooked a perfect medium rare. The pour of the house Chardonay was generous and was tasty. The one negative (not enough to knock off a star) for me was the draft beer choices as there are no local craft beers to choose from, but a 20 oz Sam Adams for $5.50 makes up for it.Not on US1 but still pretty easy to get to. Will be back as the menu choices are extensive and want to try them all.“
