Portion size seemed smaller (the cup wasn't full to the top either) and the "cheese sauce" is served cold in a plastic container with a peel off lid. The sauce used to be hot/warm. Cold cheese and pretzels aren't a good combination. The pretzels themselves tasted good but the presentation and location was underwhelming. What used to be a go to treat is now, eh.
Auntie Anne's is a staple at malls across America so I wasn't surprised to see it at the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlboro, Mass. The employees here are super nice compared to other Auntie Anne's locations I've been to in other parts of the country, which is the primary reason for the 5 star review. Service could really make or break your establishment, along with, of course, the quality of your product. We put in a large order that we did not notify the staff of, yet they were very kind about it. They told us what the wait time would be, and they had everything done in a shorter time than that. Also, they let us know a way to get more pretzels for the same price. Also, the pretzels were all delicious.Highly recommended.
